It separates from the shell which makes it easy to wire the connections. Includes a very good wire clamp to keep stress off of the connections. The shell snaps together securely but can be easily opened to make changes. Just a great design.

This is a very handy little device. Love the screw terminals (no soldering) and the plastic housing to protect the wires and circuit board. Also has a cable clamp to prevent tugging and yanking the cable out. It's being used on a logic port of a mixing board to trigger on air tally lights for a live radio studio. Great item at a great price! Would definitely buy again!

When there's a moment you need to solder 6 wires onto a 13 pin din-plug, a screw connection with set screws is the best! Do yourself a favor, buy the easy way out!

Repair

Good quality, however be aware that one side is thicker than the other to accommodate the pin screw board. If you have to install it close to other connectors, it may not fit. If you’ve got space on the top and bottom, you’re golden!

This plug does not work with the Bose Accoustimas line of speakers. It is a male plug and a female is needed for Bose. Plug is of good quality and should work well with other products.

It is useful and easy to attach the wiring into the screw type terminals. Was somewhat large dimensioned and the shell is not very thick and somewhat flimsy. Good choice if you are afraid to attempt soldering to the standard D-sub connector pins.

These are invaluable for DIY controller projects. The interface board makes it simple to know what lead you're connecting, and takes the guesswork out of pinouts.
