EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE to "the hood"
Enjoy the comfort & ease of use, especially with everything you have mounted on your head (Headphones, Cap, Nite light etc.) They do have tendency to lightly fog up @ times & seem a tad fragile when using. Otherwise a good alternative to the "norm" & a good value.

A must-have for instrument students!
Great for instrument training. A word of advice, though, is that if you use an over-ear headset (like my Bose Aviation Headset X), these things produce a decent amount of pain on your temples. I also have a slightly larger head, so these can be a tight fit. Due to my larger head, I also managed to break my old ones after 2 years of use which led me to having to buy a new pair on Amazon!

Better than the Hood
To be honest I have ordered about 3 pairs of these over time since I keep losing them, but I'd do it again so I didn't have to practice IFR work with that awful, uncomfortable hood over my head. Also doesn't block out everything, but you aren't helping yourself if you try to cheat their limits.

Goggles
Have used these for years only problem is they don't last forever. They can make scratch proof glass and a lot of us would pay extra.

I don't know if they are all like this but my pair are a complete dud and ...
The clear part of the foggles have sandblasting overspray so are not clear at all and impair vision. I don't know if they are all like this but my pair are a complete dud and waste of money

This is way better than using a hood. if you are thinking a hood because its cheaper this one is well worth the price.
