I have been meaning to treat myself to one of Diego Quijano's books for a while now and was mightily impressed by this the first volume in the Encyclopaedia of Aircraft Modelling Techniques series. The book itself comprises a series of how to guides in the form of photographs showing how the various techniques and finishes have been applied, something I personally find more helpful than endless paragraphs outlining what somebody did. I really can't fault the book, although I am aware that some people have said they think the books are overpriced. As far as I'm concerned, though, I would recommend this product without hesitation and will definitely buy the remaining 4 as soon as my modelling budget allows!

Great book if a little pricey considering it's the same price in Euros.

Very informative and well illustrated. I would highly recommend this book for any aviation model maker, whether they are experienced or not.
