If you have had knee pain, or hip pain these are worth their weight in gold and they are GOLDEN....I use these on both the larger step, the smaller athletic step and the super step high and the difference is immense. Hard to find buy when you can...I have had a total knee on left and total hip replacement on the right and I am still stepping...

I stopped using these because they just make the step slip around because it can't sit in the grooves of the risers properly. Also, when I went up from one set of risers to two, these added another cm or so, which was uncomfortably high for me. I've found that the best thing for my knees has instead been to modify the routine so that I substitute spinning/pivoting moves with other moves such as "rock step" or "cha cha" or whatever fits the choreography.
