I got a bird cam for Mother’s Day. But I had to move it to a pole with a baffle to keep the squirrels off the feeder. But then I couldn’t reach the bird cam to add bird seed or change out the battery. I’m 67 & I have to be careful about climbing so I needed to have a good sturdy set of steps. These were exactly what I was looking for. They fold/unfold with the touch of one button. The steps are wide and have skid proof steps. The handrails also give me more stability. And there’s even a tool bag included that can be attached at the top to help out holding things. The weight is not too bad either to carry. Easy assembly. Very pleased with these steps.

Bought this ladder to replace my old wood ladder that was getting wobblier as the years went by. Since at 76 I'm getting wobblier myself I wanted something that was solid to give me confidence when getting up to 8ft+ ceilings for replacing lights or cleaning fans, etc. This ladder is everything I'd hoped for. The steps are firm and deep... no need to hang your heels off the step. The four-step version I bought gets me as high as I need to go with a solid top handrail to keep a grip on once I'm up there. The side handrails are nice but not as important to me as the top rail... however they do add another level of safety and that's not a bad thing. You do have to bolt the side and top rail to the ladder when you receive it but it's a simple process that I'm sure about anyone can handle. It comes with a tool bag, or pouch, that slips over the top rail and is very handy for keeping stuff at your fingertips so trips up and down the ladder are kept to a minimum. The ladder isn't light so some may have a little trouble carrying it around. One of the reasons for the weight is the fact that the steps are heavy gauge metal with rubber step surface. A lot of the other ladders of this type that don't weigh as much have plastic steps... not just the surface, but the whole step. I'll take the extra weight and the extra sturdiness the metal steps give you. I give this product 5 stars and don't have any "cons".

Gives me, an 80 year old woman, a safe way to reach. However I got it as a replacement for a stepladder thinking it would be lighter to carry but it is still quite heavy to carry.

Requires a little assembly, but just takes just a few minutes. Seems to be fairly sturdy and is useful for most jobs around the house. I feel comfortable climbing the first 3 steps, but don't use the 4th step much as you have to reach down to the handrails making it feel like standing on top of a ladder. Overall does everything I expected.

The ladder is exactly as described. It will get a lot of use.

I had a 2 step ladder as well as a ladder that went to the ceiling, neither gave me support as I'm am getting older to prevent falls. I sold the other 2 ladders in a yard sale and bought this ladder, and I am so very pleased. I feel so much safer on a ladder now. It has a removable case to hold supplies while I work, or I can remove the canvas case and just use it as a handle for more support. It also has two safety rails to help me as I climb up and down as well as a little more support if I lean left or right. The grips on the steps are wide for added safety. It's very sturdy so a little bit heavy for me, but if it was too light it would not be so sturdy. I am very pleased with this ladder!
