Celebration Herbals Tea Valerian Root Organic -- 24 Herbal Tea Bags

Yummy what a delicious tea! My son even requested this tea. It does take longer to steep and infuse. You need to sort of stir it up to get the flavor to come out and penetrate the water.

The taste wasn't real bad tho I added a little honey and lemon to it. It has a pretty bad smell slightly like an old boot. But once the honey and lemon were added it did smell a bit better. I do feel relaxed and that is what I was going for. Will buy again.

It does have an earthy taste and smell to it but it's no where near unbearable, especially when you recall that it's root juice that you are sipping on. Although calming and relaxing it doesn't really induce sleep much, which is why I was expecting from Valarian root.

This stuff is great! I can get pretty wound up during the as I work with special needs elementary kids. Sometimes difficult to wind down at the end of the day. Very glad that it tastes nothing like what it smells. I just add about a half teaspoon of honey. Hour or so before bedtime and I drift right off and sleep through the nightn

It smelled like rotten stinky cheese. I had to throw the whole box out because the smell was making me gag.

When steeped for 5 minutes, this tea gives you a mild earthy flavored cup of tea without adding anything to it.. This Valerian root tea has a very calming effect on your body. I drink it sometimes before bed and it relaxes me so much making it easier to fall asleep. I love the earthy flavor of this tea. I have even made this into iced tea to get a calming effect during the day, and it helps. This is not a very strong tea other than having an earthy flavor to it. Love this tea.

Bought the Celebration herbal Valerian Tea to use as a sleeping 😴 aide. I had used another brand but it used a blend of other herbs n I wanted to try just valerian. Looked through your selections n choice this one because it’s organic n has 20 bags. The price was quite reasonable as compared to other’s non organic. Have tried it for a week now n it truly does give me a restful night’s sleep. It’s quite tasty with a mild taste. I recommend it.

This valerian tea is VERY weak. When brewing it barely turns the water a pale yellow. Most decent valerian teas will turn the water a nice dark brown. VERY disappointed in this product. Expensive too.

Have been looking for valarian root forever but all the teas I find are mixed with other stuff. Now, do keep in mind this herb has a very earthy raw taste and a scent that many people will find unappealing. I use this for a special blend of "lucid dreaming tea" and cut it open to mix with the other herbs.

Despite the pictures of different herbs on the box, keep in mind that this is pure valerian tea.

When I checked out the "1 star" ratings, I still proceeded optimistically and ordered the product. Turns out the "1 stars" were right and I was wrong. The smell on opening the package is overwhelmingly bad. I could not even begin to imagine making a tea with it. I am happy for the "5 star" raters who gave glowing reviews.....clearly it helps them a lot....but it's not for me. I threw the whole package out. Always read the one star ratings.
