Pipe in center hole needs to be in vertical position, otherwise will spread with weight. Not for fancy rack designs.Bulky, heavy...made to last.

This is great but I was unaware that this is a 3 way adjustable connector. I only thought it was a 2 way end to end connector. If you are only connecting 2 tubes then you can only do a 90 degree angle as you need the 3rd bar going through the center clamp to allow the other 2 bars to be adjustable. Without the 3rd bar in the center the adjustable part is just sitting loose.

Help cut down the amount of clamps you have to use. Remember they have to be the same height on both sides.

Just received as Christmas Gift..I always open and inspect as I have learned if you wait and open gifts you received online... if you wait the blame shifts to you.I have many Gibraltar racks and dozens and dozens of clamps..None of the ones I have had for years have as much damage/peeling chrome as these and these are new out of the package and not cheap a $250.00 purchase.They were either a return or just poor quality Control.
