There were a few comments about the measurements of the spoons not being accurate and up to 67%off?fThat's quite a bit.How acccurate are their size?

I just got these today. I used the 1T size to measure out 1 Tablespoon of water using a scale that can read to 0.01 grams. I repeated the measurement six times and the readings averaged out to 10.2 grams, or about 67% of the expected value of 15 grams. My old set came in at 13.9 grams. I didn't check the other size spoons as I will be returning these.

How long is the handle? Are the spoons 5.5" total or just the handle? I am looking for some long handled spoons.

They look more like 4.5 to the spoon..maybe 5.5 total on the table spoon.

Have two similar sets one in winter home, one in southern home, but the one I have here says China and I think it is the same for the set up north. both well made and needed the shape to fit into small spaces. very few things like this are made in the US anymore.

These measuring spoons are they made of one piece of 18/10 stainless steel? is this product better than hic essential spoons?

I don't think there is anyway to know if it's made out of one piece of 18/10 steel. That said, I went through many measuring spoons until I found the right one which are these. They are stainless steel and tough! You can't bend them easily like many other steel measuring spoons.

Not sure what to make of the one star review, my spoons looked just like the seller’s photos. I like that these spoons are broad, because I’m using them to measure cat food as I transition them from current to new food (they eat 2TBSP meals four times a day)—so the wide scoop holds kibble better. They are sturdy, and a 2TBSP spoon I bought separately years ago (same company) as a kibble scoop has held up under daily use and cleaning. I do wonder if they would work well with spice jars though, due to their width.

So Worth the Price

Simply love these measuring spoons. I already have the coffee scoop (you gotta get one of those, too) & wanted a decent set of stainless steel measuring spoons. Unlike almost all the others, the rims are perfectly smooth. Feel SO good in your hand. I’m yard sale-ing my old ones ( poor sap that ends up with them. Hey! That makes ME an ex-sap).
