Floyd Rose FRTSNBKP Noiseless Tremolo Springs, Black

Let's clear a few things up from a former road tech, that I've noticed in other reviews: These work better than uncoated springs. In my case, they make no noise, resonance or any type of noise. You will have to properly setup your guitar after install, so ya may as well grab a set of strings too. ;) Grounding: (eyes roll) is this really a real problem?? Anyway, if it is for you, or just because it doesnt hurt, I use a 6" wire wheel on my bench grinder and clean the 90 degree block end and eyelet of the coating. "Problem" solved. You may also use plumbers cloth aka Emery cloth or say 4/600 grit sandpaper. Your choice. I use the black set on all my Floyd's. I run 10-46, 10-52 and 11's with these. If you use jumbo strings, you may consider the red set. If you're attempting to play your guitar like a bass, the green set is most appropriate, as they have the strongest tension and are made if a heavier wire. If you're attempting to play 8 string stuff on a 6 string: buy an 8 string guitar. ;) So, please ignore these 2 and 1 star reviews. If your bridge pitches forward after installing these, adjust your tension in increments at the claw, retune and repeat until you level it out again without string buzz. Always reset your intonation! Or play out of tune at the octave, doesnt bother me either way. ;)

Eliminate the spring squeak of stock springs in the tremolo system.

It reacts very smooth to the movements of the tremolo bridge, the whammy bar works great with it, great for dive bombs and harmonic bends, but the best of this springs is that it also improved the sound of the guitar.

I always put these springs in all my guitars, even my regular Strats, because they are high quality, noiseless, and the black ones look cool! The reds ones look cool too, but they are heavy duty which makes it harder to use the trem, these are perfect.

I own a Kramer Pacer Classic that came with an offbrand, licensed Floyd Rose. I decided to upgrade to an actual Floyd Rose, but ever since, whenever I would do a flutter effect with the arm, or even just moving the tremolo, I always noticed the springs made noise! To make matters worse, the tremolo itself just felt unresponsive. I recently decided to give these a shot, and OH MY GOSH. It makes such a huge difference! My trem actually feels responsive, I can pull flutter effects off with ease, and it was just a drop in replacement! The tension is slightly less that the springs I had in before, so I would have to tighten the spring holder thingy in the back, but heck, that's to be expected. I love these! They are noiseless, and very responsive! Another great product by Floyd Rose!

Hard to say much about these. Not sure I needed them but I will say they are not noiseless but not as bad as Fender brand. I like having extra springs around and they were cheap. I bought these and some Fender brand ones because I assumed the springs that came with my Squier VM 70s Strat were cheap but they actually seem to be better quality than these or the fender. They're thicker, tighter and heavier, just slightly. They produce less noise than the fender springs, but more noise than these. Weird, every other part of the squier trem is crap. Crap that works in lieu of something better, but still crap. You can upgrade it with a pw-29 bridge for 25.00. But apparently you don't need to replace springs. Don't know why the springs seem better, but maybe they are more broken in or something. I use two of these and one of the squier springs and I still taped them to supress noise. But they work, other than being not completely noiseless. I took several steps at the same time to improve my guitar tone and trem stability and I succeeded in both aspects but I'm not sure how much these springs helped as I changed several things at once. I know that the combo of two of these and one of the stock springs on my squier sound much better than when I used the Fender brand springs. They were way too noisy. Ich habe 10-54er Ernies auf meiner Gitarre und ich musste die Befestigung für die Federn komplett rein Schrauben und habe die gitarte einen halbton tiefer gestimmt also auf Es. Eine normale E Stimmung wäre mit den Federn und den Seiten nicht möglich, ich muss mir noch stärkere Federn bestellen. Bei einer D Stimmung oder Drop C wären die Federn warscheinlich ausreichend für meine Seiten.

Justo lo que necesitaba, me preocupaba que fuesen demasiado duros, no toco con calibres muy altos, pero van bien para 010, y el diámetro es menor que los que tenía, que era parte del problema que estaba teniendo con la guitarra en cuestión. A mí me han ido perfectos, para un puente normal de 2 puntos tipo strato, no es floyd.

Buenos muelles, si son originales y es verdad que no se quedan con ruido se los coloque a un puente edge Zero y deja estable el puente

Montate su una kramer anni 80 con floyd rose original...perfette, durezza media e fanno il loro lavoro.
