My husband and I started our electrolyte/hydration journey with Liquid IV 3 years ago. The sugar in it would give my husband mild stomach cramps so we went for something cleaner. I came across LMNT shortly after and have been an avid fan and that has been my go to.....until my husband found this!! LMNT did get the job done and frankly tastes better than the banana bag BUT with all the vitamins, etc., not only does the banana bag hydrate but but after our first dose this morning we both messaged each other after with increased energy level and honestly a better mood, like a mental lift almost. I used a frother to mix in about 4 oz of water and then added an additional 12 oz. It does dissolve easily no grainy residue leftover. I would have taken it like a shot for a more concentrated taste but it said to sip slowly over 15 minutes so I did just that. The flavor isn't awful but it isn't something I'd necessarily crave. It isn't cheap but the value for the money is there. I don't mind paying what I need to for something that is clean and does what I need it to . In most things you do get what you pay for and this is definitely worth it.

The first one I drank was like .. ew this is gross and like drinking warm salt water, and WHAT lemon-lime flavor?! But 30 short minutes later I was addicted. My brain has successfully correlated the taste to feeling great and now I welcome the salty flavor. I have changed my they way I consume it to putting the packet into an only half full typical 16oz sized water bottle, shake, chug. Then I sip another 8oz of regular water after while waiting to feel great. It goes down fast and works fast. I ALWAYS have one the morning after having drinks, but I also have one just whenever I feel like I need some extra hydration and vitamin boost. I'm officially a lifer.. And I certainly hope this product sticks around that long. Update: two things from above 1- I use even less water now to shake it up in maybe only 2-3 ozs so it's more concentrated and just a gulp or two to shoot it back with. (Still followed by a bit more regular water after) And 2 - for drinking nights I've started having it directly following drinking and before bed, rather than waiting till morning. I have found it entirely heads off any and all morning after hangover type issues. I haven't woken up a single time feeling anything but great when having this before bed. It's literally like magic for me. Recommend trying it for this purpose to see if it works for you. Im sure it depends on how much you drink but I've used it on a few heavy nights for me which is an entire bottle of wine or as many as 8 tequila shots (1 oz each) which is aLOT for me personally and still no issue. I was expecting this to work wonders. I totally had the worst night of 💩 allllllllll night. I felt so tired and weak from not sleeping/💩. I always wanted to try these and never did.. I’m so glad that I ordered these!!!!!!! Let me tell you when I say it was way above and beyond what I expected!!!!! I agree with a comment I seen when I read them before I ordered. It’s like lemon lime Gatorade without any of the sugar. The taste was tolerable for me. “Just chugg it” and watch yourself feel soooooooo much better!!!! I would give more stars if I could!!! People complain about the taste .. but I mean when ur sick and throwing up and pooping who cares about taste anyways !! 🤷🏻‍♀️ u won’t regret buying this!! I promise u if you can get over the bland taste while chugging and lemon lime flavor after… love this product and ima keep ordering them for sure!!

These were recommended to me by a nurse who claims they are very similar to what her hospital gives patients who are dehydrated. I was severely dehydrated and bought these out of desperation to avoid a hospital trip. For me I had to take very tiny sips. They do not taste great at all. At first I continued to expel the liquid , but I was also far into being dehydrated. It took some hours to finish, but it truly worked. Just the taste is really horrific. Lol The next day I felt 80% better and started to recover as no other products were working. I do recommend, but be warned about flavor and truly just sip it ice cold! I keep them on hand for emergencies! Loaded with B vitamins as well as others.

Worth the price!! Kept me hydrated and replenished electrolytes. Taste was a little tough but worth it. After a long night of “fun” I used a pouch and quickly got right

This stuff is disgusting. It tastes nothing like lemon or lime and is not a good flavor at all. Chew up a mutlivitamin or an aspirin in your mouth and you'll get the idea. It's awful. It's also impossible to pour into a water bottle because it's all clumped up in the bag. Even a funnel did not work because it just clogged the funnel. I regret this purchase and will be going back to Liquid IV which tastes much better and pours better and is packaged better. I will toss the rest of these.

I really wanted to give this a try as I have looked at the composition and it is great! I have seen a handful of reviews mentioning the taste but I told myself, it seems to be a great product, I can tolerate some not so nice taste for the sake of getting those nutrients to my body, besides, it cannot be that bad right? WRONG! It is THAT bad, it is the worst tasting thing I’ve ever had. I took one sip and wanted to vomit. I had the unsweetened lemon flavor, there is nothing lemony about it, smells terrible and tastes even worse. It is salty and oily with some indescribable foul aftertaste. It is a great concept but how can the people who developed this product say, yup tastes drinkable to me? At this point, I’d rather just have a lot of vitamin B pills that drink that thing again. Sorry but I really wanted to like it. Please do yourself a favor and listen to those who say that this thing is terrible, because it is.

I bought a 15 pack for a weekend at a music festival I knew I was going to be running my body ragged. It was going to be hot, I was going to be drinking, and I was going to be making bad decisions. I noticed that the number one complaint about the Banana Bag is the taste. Yeah, it tastes pretty bad, actually it's just salty and if you chug it it's completely tolerable. It tastes like...vitamins without the sugary after taste. Other than that, it worked just as advertised. I woke up every morning feeling like death herself and chugged a banana bag down, within half an hour I started to feel like a functioning human being. At first it was a joke with my friends to have them try to the banana bags (might as well chase it with Malort) but by the end of the weekend they were believers and asking if I could spare a bag. Now I keep a five pack on me for when I need to "banana bag my life". I really think they could capitalize on the awful taste (but superior hydration) by starting a #bananabagchallenge. I tell everyone that will listen about Banana Bags and I'm pretty sure my friends are tired of hearing me sing their praises so now I'm just going to tell strangers on the internet.
