Video states not waterproof, if child spills wetter foods will it go straight through?

Thank you for your inquiry. The fabric is a light weight, silky polyester, with a laminated layer on the back side of the fabric to repel moisture. Most moist foods dripped on the bib during mealtime will not go straight through the fabric due to the laminate layer, but the fabric itself will get wet if submersed under water. Materials like silicone and vinyl type bibs are completely impermeable to water, but is stiff and uncomfortable to wear. BIB-ON is a very comfortable fabric bib for daily wear. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you so much for your interest in our product. Please refer to the actual size of the BIB-ON on the picture shown on the listing. It offers 18 inches of neck down coverage and it 17 inches wide. As for the neck size, it has a fairly wide adjustable hook and loop closure to accommodate different neck widths. The wrist opening for the long sleeve version of BIB-ON may be pretty tight. However, these sleeves are removable from the BIB-ON long sleeve version if desired. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
