where is is this umbrella made?

I think it’s well made. I’ve used it for months. It is sturdy, auto open/close works and it fits in my small purse. On the downside, it’s 9” long, not 8.5” as the description says and it’s a bit heavy but that is what makes it sturdy.

Is it’s canopy plastic or fabric?

It is fabric but repels water and all umbrellas are hard to close but at least this one has auto close so the fabric area comes down to get in the car. Getting the pole down is a little tougher because of how sturdy it is, it does take a little more effort. I’ve tried a bunch of umbrellas. This one is good and I will repurchase.

Can’t totally close my mini umbrella. It folds up, but won’t go down the shaft. Can’t get it back open either.

I never could get it to open - I kept waiting for that reassuring “click” but it never happened. I returned it and so should you. I also found it to be Very heavy which was not what I wanted for a travel umbrella.
