5-1-1 Day Programmable Thermostat for Home Conventional Single-Stage Systems, up to 1 Heat/ 1 Cool, (with White Backlight)

Easy to install when I replaced a simple, old school two wire thermostat. Buttons are easy to read, display arrived same as pictured, easier to program than some others I’ve purchased. I usually wait before writing a review to see how item performs, but this came out of the box and is solid.

Arrived quickly in good shape. Easy to hook up as my system only uses two wires. That means the thermostat has to have the batteries to function. Works great after figuring out the correct programming and offset for temperature. Back light is a great feature because you don't need to turn on a light to see the display. Directions were good but not great - otherwise very satisfied.

Great replacement thermostat to get us out of a bind. Had a big name smart thermostat, noticed it was short cycling and not reading accurate temps. Bought this and already saving on electricity and fuel oil. Just hope you do not mind 24 hour time. Works with my force air heating oil system with central air. Easy to program. Great price

I have 30 yrs HCAC experience, and I am SO impressed by this t-stat. I tried this on a whim because it's the first t-stat I've seen in years with the 24v power option that didn't cost $100. First impressions when I took it out of the box: It felt solid and had some weight to it. Totally unlike "light-weighted" Honeywell junk that is over-priced to begin with. Buttons are solid with affirmative feedback when pressed. I wired it up to operate without batteries (hooked-up the 24 volt common). Extremely pleased with its operation. Backlight is a pleasant soft white with easy-to-read display suitable for my aging eyes. Menu is well thought out and easy to navigate. The Tech-level adjustments are well executed as well. I was really excited that it even has a thermometer calibration feature in addition to the Swing adjustment. Very smart the way they separated these Technician level adjustments separated from the homeowner-level/programming adjustments so the homeowner doesn't get in over their head or screw something up. I also tested it running on batteries. Ran just fine. Battery life is unknown since I'm only using batteries for backup. I'm also impressed with the battery access. No need to remove the t-stat from the sub-base to access batteries like many of the flimsy Honeywells. This Heagstat has an easy access panel on the front. This is the nearest thing thermostat Valhalla I've come across in years. I purchased 5 more just to have on hand. The only thing they could possible add that would make it pure Valhalla would be to include a Plain-Jane hour meter (in addition to the filter hour count feature). Solid 5 Star product.

Not the easiest thing to install but any handyman can do it rather easily, just take your time, take a picture of the wiring on the old thermostat before dismantling. Easy to program. It came same day when I really needed it. Affordable. You will not be disappointed.

This is the smartest thermostat I ever had. It is protective for your furnace as it lets adjust the temp swing as you want. Bye bye short cycling caused by other thermostats! Very practical, very configurable.

First off it works but it's an unnecessarily frustrating process to set it up. The instructions as shown with diagrams both on this page as well as those included in the box are a mess. The connection points/wiring points is not for this device. Most of the connections shown do NOT exist. I ended up using the lettering and ignoring their placement. Thankfully our system is just a two wire heat only. It'd been awful if there'd been more wires to guess where those would've gone to. Next the instructions i received didn't show anything about batteries. On the lower front is a flip down panel. Place two aaa batteries there. As for setup i got stuck yet again due to those terrible instructions. They say to start programming to press the menu button. Wrong again, you need to press that button 2X before the display shows settings not a single press. Last issue is temperature. It isn't calibrated correctly, both of ours display room temperature 3.5F too high. So for example if i want the heat to come on at 70F it needs be set to 73F or 74F. FYI we have a couple indoor thermometers besides our echo devices that all measure temperature accurately. Using those confirmed the discrepancy. Once getting through all that the thermostat does do what i wanted it to do. All said knowing what i do now about this product i doubt I'd purchase it, them again. There are just far too many careless sloppy mistakes in the instructions.

2 wire/single stage heat, was a breeze to install. Instructions are a little difficult to follow, but programming was mostly intuitive. I like the large display with backlight when you need it. Will run entirely on 2 AAA batteries if needed, no external power supply required. Multiple programming options for heat/cool. This was a good purchase.

Great and worked as expected

The instructions were a little difficult to read for a first time novice woman like me, but it wasn’t hard to install and test within the hour. Good product at a reasonable price.

Multi stage thermostats are harder to find than I thought. After a couple of winters of having issues with the original thermostat, I got this and as soon as I read the instructions and hooked it up myself, it has worked as if it came with the furnace. Shipping was a little slow coming from the US, but overall, I'm very happy.

I only have a two wire system and it took a few tries to get it hooked up to the correct contacts because the instructions weren't super helpful. Otherwise great.
