I purchased this because my water bottles didn’t fit in the cup holders of my car. I am glad I did! It works as expected and now my water bottles don’t roll onto the floor!

The dimensions of this product prevented it from fitting in my cupholders in my 2020 Subaru Forester. The base wasn't tall enough to hit the bottom of the cupholder, so the top portion was balancing on the rim of the cupholder and wobbled all over the place. It's a shame because the product is really nice and fit my 40oz Simple Modern water bottle perfectly. I am leaving 4 stars for that reason, but wanted to write a review. Hopefully others who have Foresters will see it and save themselves the hassle of returning. If this company ever made another cup holder expander that had a taller base for deeper cupholders, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I use frost buddy universal and big buddy can coolers, hydro flasks, and everything in between. This thing fits super secure in the cup holder. While the first few uses it is super snug with the collar, after enough dust collects on it, it is a bit easier to get the drink in and out. The extra height is great too, I also use an aftermarket elbow rest, and this makes it easier and at the same height. Doesn’t interfere with anything on my dash or console. I like that I don’t have to limit the size of my drink container! It is sturdy and holds all my drinks of any size even if I take a turn a bit fast. I have had zero tip outs or issues with stability.

Cup holder works and is of good quality but will not work in a rav4 . The cup holders in the Rav4 are too deep to allow the Expandable cup holder to sit properly inside msking it unsecure and wobbly.

I needed this for the cup holder in my console as the front one is very narrow. It does make it so that I can fit bigger cups, but has some design flaws. Firstly, when fitting it to the car's cup holder, once you get it wide enough to do the final quarter turn to secure it, the whole unit spins rather than just the bottom. You have to put pressure on the sides if you have an open space between cup holders like I do in my car to really secure and prevent spinningor potentially scratching the car's cup holder. I've seen on a similar product where you turn to tighten using a mechanism that's in the cup itself and then you place a coaster over it to hide the turning mechanism. That would have worked well here. Additionally, the little lip (pointed out in the attached picture) prevents the unit from sitting flush to the bottom of the car's cup holder. See other attached photos. I know it's blurry, I'm sorry. I couldn't get my phone to focus that close to show what I mean. I thought I'd lost my popsocket top but found its way under the huge gap seen in the photos. Lastly, the top rim and flaps are a magnet for hair, fibers, dust, etc. If that doesn't bother you, no big deal, just cosmetic. Overall does what it's made for, but it could certainly use some improvement.

Fits perfectly in any cup holder. Holds my large 32oz water bottle.
