If a product works as it should, I give it 5 stars. (Stars for a product should have nothing to do with delivery speed or condition) I have run 15 tapes, each 60 to 90 minutes each. No issues so far. One thing I did was make sure I used fresh high quality in batteries. Don't skimp on the batteries and replace them if their running low. It makes a difference.

We bought this so we could play the smaller VHS C tapes on our VCR, this worked as promised and was durable, it was easy to use has a button that automatically opens the compartment that holds the smaller tape. I thought this was great value for cost and works as expected .

This might be the worst product I’ve ever purchased in my entire life. 30$ for it to malfunction for thirty minutes until it completely stopped working. Every time I put the adapter in, it would just eject it and stop the video. I’d like to add that the tapes I’ve been trying to watch are videos my dead dad filmed of me growing up like my first steps and first birthdays. When this product stopped working mid playing on the tv, I realized that the film was now stuck and intertwined in the plastic. I give this product one star instead of zero because at least the plastic was cheap enough to break off without any force and without damaging my tape. I genuinely can’t even imagine what type of person would charge 30$ for something that clearly took 50 cents to make. For the love of god, don’t waste your money. Waiting and hoping for a full refund considering this product didn’t last over 24 hours!

First one we found that actually worked and didn’t eat up my tapes. The other brand we bought 3 times and none of them worked. It’s work paying the little extra to get your moneys worth that’s for sure

Leaving a 5 star so it comes to the top. If you can help it, don’t buy this. It broke after ONE use. The mechanisms inside broke themselves somehow when I tried to open it a second time. And now nothing will happen. Very disappointed that I spent $30 on this to use it once.

Who wants to watch old family video that are on VHS-type tapes? This is for you! The quality of the build and the adapter are really good! It's easy to use, the sound quality is that of other VHS tapes, and you can fast forward and rewind using it. Overall a great value and useful item to have!

Its very expensive

Worked very well in playing all my VHS-C camcorder tapes, including a JVC tape that some info suggested wouldn’t be compatible. But a big word of warning - the cassette wouldn’t eject from my VHS player on the first time of use as the plastic flap which covers the tape was causing an obstruction and preventing the cassette mechanism from fully rising to the eject position. I had to manhandle the adapter out of my VHS player and then removed the plastic flap from the adapter. It ejected absolutely fine after that. I don’t know if my JVC VHS player was the issue, but the plastic flap is thicker than you find on actual VHS cassette tapes and this was enough to cause the obstruction.

Works OK but a bit flimsy and sometimes catches the tape so you need to be careful with loading
