I found this Harddrive to be really easy to use and I am by no means technically inclined. I figure some of the bad reviews are from really techy people that have more knowledge of the ins and outs of these things but for a regular person like myself this Harddrive does the job. Easy install (not sure why you'd buy the "Professional install" for an additional £60) and easy to set up for daily back up. I would definitely recommend the item.

The product arrived on time. It looks great, small but with high capacity. It is also very fast to transfer the data to and from computer. I am happy with the purchase.

My 1TB drive was getting fully and so I replaced with this pretty silver drive since I already had a black 2TB drive! Looks very pretty and is slim line but it does cost more... so that why only four stars

I started to use this item, I moved all the files from my first hard drive because I needed more than 500GB, and I can say that I am very satisfied with this new small hard drive. High capacity, very small, excellent materials. I am very happy with that and I suggest to buy this item.

I use this for my PS4 500gb isn’t enough with game sizes these days and I was fed up of deleting games to make way for updates of other games I’ve downloading about 15 games so far it can hold up to 25 2tb hard drive I paid 69.99 Bargain

This external disk drive looks very smart - but that is the end of the positive aspects! It arrived with a small dent in the case - where the protective box it was shipped in was designed to have a window to show off the sleek finish (what is the point in protecting the rest so well when the Achilles heal is in the window?). I then found that it regularly drops out of data transfer and then shuts itself down - so you cannot rely on successful data transfer. I have looked at the software provided (no help) and checkdsk'd it (nothing found). In short this Toshiba disk drive is of no use as a reliable backup. I will not purchase another Toshiba drive again.

Ottimo venditore e buona qualità del prodotto

Die Festplatte wird bei mir genutzt bei einem Apple MacBook, einem Chromebook von Acer und einem Lenovo Notebook mit Windows 10. Alle Geräte erkennen die Festplatte ohne Probleme. Die Canvio Slim ist sehr leicht und dünn und optisch schön anzusehen. Die Datenübertragung ist wirklich sehr flott wenn ich das mit meinem 4 Jahre alten Seagate vergleiche. Bei USB 3.1 komme ich auf 130 MB pro Sekunde. Die kopierten Datenmengen sollten aber nicht dreistellig sein denn dann wird es sichtbar langsamer. Der einzige Kritikpunkt bei mir ist die Tatsache, daß von 2 Terrabyte nur 1,93 TB verfügbar sind. Habe keine Ahnung womit der restliche Speicher ab Werk schon zugemüllt ist. Es ist mir schon klar, daß ich nicht komplette 2TB Speicher bekomme aber 70 GB für irgendwelche Programme im Hintergrund finde ich etwas viel.
