I bought these for me and my dad and our respective pups who are often together. My father is a senior, uses a cane for assistance with walking, and unfortunately can be unsteady on his feet. He also has some heart issues that are medically managed, so he bruises very very easily, on top of having thin sensitive skin as most seniors do. I was on the hunt for new leashes for both of our pups, and wanted to find something for my dad that was sturdy and had a handle that he could easily grip, but also wear around his wrist without damaging or bruising his skin if his dog pulls. This leash fit the bill, and the fact that they came in a 2 pack and coordinated together only sweetened the deal! Now he’ll have the same comfort for the rare occasion he has to walk with my dog. They have a nice weight to them that I think helps manage the dogs from not wanting to pull too much, and the handle is even better than I had ever hoped for. My dad was surprisingly impressed (he tends to resist new things) and said it felt really comfortable to hold or wear on his wrist, and he thinks it helps him safely walk with his dog! I will say that, due to the very nice cushioned handle and the thick chording of the leash, this is not all that flexible. You really either have to let them hang straight, or roll them up, as shown in the item detail pictures, to store or carry. Not a deal breaker, just something I thought was worth mentioning. The only drawback I have with these is that they aren’t offered in longer lengths. We are used to 6ft leashes, so this just took some adjusting. Again, not a deal breaker. I’m very pleased with this purchase, and I think my dad and our dogs are too. I’ve already recommended them to family members!

Great product that this company stands behind 100%!! Great price as well with the bundle kit you get! Can’t be beat! The rope itsel is very sturdy but if you allow your dog to continue to chew on it consistently then there will be fraying to occur. The plastic piece helping hold it together can be damaged as well if you allow your dog to chew on it as well. Make sure you detach your leash or lead as soon as possible to prevent this from happening. The foam for the handle is awesome as it allows me to have better grip and control of my big baby Pitbull. Highly recommended product!! My bundle deal came with a collapsible dish that can be clipped onto the lead rope handle as on the handle has a metal ring to attach it to to take with you on walks to hydrate your pooch! It’s a smaller dish but expands out pretty deep. My Pitbull drinks from it very well with her gator mouth! It also came with a capsule like container that hold poop bags! Very convenient as you can clip this onto you rope as well to take with you. I love that I don’t have to hold onto these items as they are held on by clipped to the rope! I would definitely purchase this item again or for others as gift that needs a good lead!

These are basically like aesthetic ropes with some reflective thread wrapped around and a foam/rubber grip. Admittedly, my puppy is now growing out of his teething phase, but unlike his original cloth leashes, he can't chew through these in 30 seconds flat - the reflective thread just breaks a bit if you start looking at it closely. The leash itself doesn't look like it's fraying a couple of months in. They also are *very* comfortable to hold (again, as opposed to his previous cloth leashes), and they make it easy to hold back the pup anytime he sees a squirrel (no more leash burn!!). Update: 5 stars to 4 stars... The weak spots are the plastic bits that secure the ropes. The bit securing the rotating piece managed to snap in the middle of a walk, leaving behind the rope secured with a few black stitches (this is for the red one). Should be an easy enough thing to reinforce, but if it frays/breaks prior to, that looks like the point where it'll happen.

I needed to find a strong leash for my Loveable & Goofy Irish Setter mix.. "Gilligan", so we could continue taking our lovely evening walks together (safely). His Pretty (and Sensible), Blue Pitty sister, "Twinkle" & I. He's easily distracted, which makes him unpredictable. If you aren't right there with him, mentality and physically, at all times.. things have a tendency to end badly (especially when using an inferior leash). I have incurred broken ribs (twice). A massive bone bruise, that's still healing (from about a year ago). A broken wrist... A damaged knee.. it goes on and on.. but you get the idea. If there's a 🐝 or a 🦋 or a shadow (usually his), or some random shiny thing, that catches his "minds eye", you better be prepared for him to just take off, in whatever direction it is that he's chosen because he's already forgotten about you, about his sister, about leash etiquette.. everything except.. whatever it was that grabbed his attention in the first place. With this leash, I have had "ZERO" broken bones, no bruises, (or any other devastating injuries). As well as him not being able to get away from me (where he might end up getting hurt). and.. We have all been able to have and enjoy some very lovely walks. I literally couldn't be happier to have found this leash and to know it works perfectly, for my young man, "Gilligan". thank you. bellaluna

This is the best leash that I've had for my strong 2 year old Golden Retriever. It has the perfect stretch. I can't even tell you how many leashes we've been thru. This one has lasted a long time and I bought a 2 pack of leashes so I still havent opened the 2nd leash. The only thing. My dog was able to quickly bite off this plastic piece. My dog is VERY hyper though. I was able to grab the piece out of her mouth. The leash still works without that piece. I have yet to attempt to clip it back on together. I don't want her biting that anyway. She has yet to bite through this leash. It's extremely durable. I love the color too! It has not frayed. I can't say enough good things about this leash and the price as well. Just that clip piece that connects together over the bottom of the leash near where the dog leash hook is. Maybe that was just a fluke thing. Again my dog cannot bite through this at all! This will save a lot of money. Also there is a nice cushion where you hold the leash which is comfortable.

Because I received my 2-pack today, I obviously haven’t used them long enough to give an accurate rating to the chew proof or sturdiness categories. If they do hold up after some time has passed, I will edit those 2 categories to be 5 stars. My first impression with these is excellent though. They seem to be well made with some strong material. For me and my needs, the 5’ length is perfect for taking the pooch outside to the bathroom, to and from the car, or even on short walks around the block, which is even safer at night now because the leashes are reflective. The foam cushion handle is very soft and will help anyone who has a stronger, pulls-you-type of dog, without getting rope burn or your arm pulled all around / off with some types of retractable leashes. For $12 you can get these 2 leashes which is still like half the cost of 1 at your local pet store. All around I would defiantly recommend and if need be, I would buy again!

Este producto me gustó mucho, la calidad es buena, y por ser perros pequeños me gusta que no está muy gruesa asi que no es difícil manejarla. Mis perros no están acostumbrados a tomar del bowl que viene en el kit, pero me gustó que viniera con eso incluido.
