We love this show so much that we've been buying all the books. You won't be disappointed if you're a fan, the art is incredible. We love you Luke Pearson!

My 7 year old daughter loves all the Hilda books so was very excited when the new one came out. As always the illustration is fantastic and if we read it together then I find myself stopping and admiring the art work!! I'd recommend this to anyone who like graphic novels and think the whole series is excellent.

The comic books were perfect for my 6 year old girl, the illustations are captivating and really orginal for a comic book. The story line is eay follow. I will keeping them in good condition so they can passed on to the next generation.

My son aged 9 adores the Hilda series. They are beautiful books that exude a real quality.

We’re huge fans of the Hilda series by Luke Pearson at home and at school, so the arrival of a new book, ‘Hilda and the Mountain King,’ caused huge excitement. After a hectic adventure in the stone forest leaves Hilda, her mum and Twig feeling a little worse for wear, she swears her days of sneaking out are over. That nights, she settles into a deep slumber, only to wake up and find she’s right back in troll territory – and this time without any back up! How did she get there and will she be able to get back to Trolberg? And what does the fearsome Mountain King have to do with any of it? This is another brilliant addition to this series, full of thrills, spills and humour that will keep children thoroughly entertained. I particularly enjoy Luke’s attention to detail, there is so many layers to the story which you can explore every time you read it. He captures Hilda’s emotions brilliantly and creates an incredible sense of drama which builds carefully and will keep your child totally engaged throughout. His use of colour alternating between strong warm colours and dark muted colours add to the tension and highlight when danger lies ahead. Another joyous read from Luke Pearson.

My son enjoyed this book. He says its more insightful and heart warming than he ever expected. I suppose it was well worth the wait. He says he he's interested to see what might come next for the Hilda series.

Nice book, nice printing, however this book has a strongly unpleasant smell which lasts quite long time. Otherwise it is a great book.

in the whole history of this book you can define as incredible the history this excellent and I would like you to adapt it to the series itself ... I want to see more! bla story is great but it takes more and more I hope and the preducer has more ideas about the books but Excellent #Hildaisloveislife xd

Really enjoyed this whole series. Both my kids did as well. The 5yo liked it all. The 2.5 yo really liked it. It was all she would let me read her at bedtime for weeks. Though... technically her favorites were the first volume and the Midnight Giant (she really likes giants).... this one had a couple of mildly scary-ish bits that I had to kind of gloss over at bedtime. Point is, this series is great for anyone from 2 - adult. Strong recommend.

My daughter loves it, she keeps re reading it and enjoys the illustration. Didn’t realise it was so big, the other Hilda books we have are A5 size but no matter. Overall very happy with it.
