Started right up
This carburetor worked great. My tiller motor started right up after I installed this carburetor. I did not even have to adjust the fuel adjustment screws. After I turned it off and tried to start it up again, it started right up. This tiller has not ran this great for decades. Thanks.

Need to replace the original carb. Works great and worth the price over trying to rebuild the old one.

Good product - you get what you pay for
A bit costly vs other alternatives but this is OEM carb Zama brand and decent quality. It required a bit of tuning to the full throttle (high) adjustment needle - which required the correct splined tool in order to make the adjustment... Otherwise it was easy to install and trimmer started on the second pull - requiring only the minor tuning of high speed and setting idle thereafter.. I would recommend this Zama brand over cheaper alternatives.

Fit perfect
The motor ran good but the carb was running rich. It would be nice to have an adjustment tool to help the setting. It requires a special adjust tool.

installed on an old craftsman blower / vac that I couldn't get running right even after installing new fuel lines an cleaning old carb. installed new carb an fired up after 3 pulls needed high speed adjusted but didn't have correct tool as it requires a double D not the spline type that I already had and didn't want to do the hacksaw cut on a new carb to adjust so ordered correct tool adjusted high speed an she runs like new . so even with the carb being more expensive than the knockoffs and spending ~ $10 for a complete set of small engine carb adjustment tools I'm money ahead not having to purchase a new blower.

Perfect replacement carburetor for my Ryobi 790R. It's very easy to tune and now my weed eater runs like new. ZAMA rules.

Would not tune properly…
With new gaskets and a the new carburetor, the string trimmer could not be tuned properly. So I cleaned and reinstalled the old carburetor and the string trimmer tunes just fine. I suspect that the new carburetor I received is defective and was most likely a returned/ used item and sold to me as new. Stay away from this seller if you don’t want returned items sold to you as new. I wished Amazon did a better job preventing sellers from selling returned/used items as new, but I’ll assume it’s hard for Amazon to control.
