I can’t tell them apart from OEM. The price is better than manfrotto.

I wouldn't trust these with my main camera due to weight but they fit the quick release perfectly and work fine for lighter attachments. Picked them up originally to mount my phone to the tripod for taking aurora photos.

These work every bit as well as OEM Manfrotto plates, and seem as sturdy as any other component of a camera and tripod system.

So far I've noticed no real functional difference over my genuine Manfrotto release plates in my Manfrotto bases. I have had other cheaper plates that did require some sanding/grinding to get a proper fit, but these fit without issues.

Works perfectly and the same as the original OEM. Just looks and feels a little different. I ordered this so I had extra QR mounts for different optics. Happy, would order again.

Can’t have just one - extras come in handy and the price is right. Good quality.

I have a Manfrotto Tripod with a Bogen 3160 Head. I found this unit in a Building Clean out, and decided to use it to hold a 60x Spotting Scope. However it was missing a couple of parts. Mainly the Quick-Attach Plate. Read other reviews and decided to try the Harwerrel Quick Release Plate. They are made of a cast metal and are very Heavy, almost 2 ounces each. The plate DOES fit and LOCK into the Bogen Head but it is approximately 0.8 inches to narrow. If you look at the two pictures, you see a Quarter placed between the Plate and the Head. This space allows for the Plate and whatever it is attached to, free movement. The Plate would not come out of the Head, just slide left to right easily. I compared Specs and Dimensions of the Manfrotto and Harwerrel plates, the Manfrotto's are wider and will fill the space in the head. The Harwerrel Quick Release Plate is an economical alternative to the true Manfrotto plates, but not a solid enough connection for use with Expensive, High Quality Optics. I returned the item, and will be purchasing the Manfrotto Plates.

I have 2 Manfrotto tripods - a 190XPROB with a 802RC head and a BeFree with a 494 ball head. I was missing a camera plate and thought I would try these - the price was right. These camera plates feel like they are very solid - they are metal. The screws hold the cameras securely (Canon DSLRs) and there is no wiggle or movement when they are mounted on the tripods. I am not a professional photographer so these will not get used extensively. For my needs they are perfect. No need for me to spend 8 to 10 times as much for a real Manfrotto plate. Plus the delivery was next day. Awesome!
