Concrete sealer for concrete countertop
I wanted a sealer that would stand up to a family of 4 abusing the concrete countertops. This one seems to be holding up very well so far. We precast our concrete tops and polished to 1000 grit. Used a 3/8" nap 6inch roller to spread and the tops soaked it right up. Second coat went on as easy as the first. 2 parties later one was spaghetti and one was tacos and not a single stain. The heat from the nescos and crock pots did not effect anything. Generally very happy and time will tell how long this sealer will last untill recoat. But o can say this sealer is better then the other one we used for our other tops.

Easy to apply, Invisible to the eye, Impressive hydrophobic properties
Applying this stuff is easy. I used a 3/8" nap roller. Just read the instructions, apply in the temperature range they recommend (i.e. not the dead of winter), and you're good. Seeing is believing, so check out the photos. One photo shows when the product is wet. One shows what it looks like after it dries, and the third shows that the hydrophobic properties work even over cracks! I waited a week before testing that part since the instructions say that part can take time to form. It's really everything that comes before applying this product that might suck, which in my case, is the following: I rented a large concrete grinder from Home Depot, resurfaced the concrete, bought a concrete grinding disk for my angle grinder to resurface the edges and corners the larger grinder couldn't reach, and bought dremel bits to get all the way into the corners. Any time you grind concrete, you want to WET grind. It keeps dust down and keeps you from ruining the grinding disks/bits you're using. As a result, the room will turn into a dusty, muddy mess (the walls too). So, I ended mopping and tooth-brushing the room over and over and over for hours until all of the dust/debris was up and the mop water stopped turning dark brown. Now I have a beautiful, sealed floor that will stay beautiful! Great product.

Siloxa-Tek 8505 'Ready to Use'
I decided to purchase the 8505 for some 90 year old chimneys that i wanted to seal. I had been having a leak that i narrowed down to either coming from one of my chimneys or it's flashing. Unfortunately I sealed them both(chimey and flashing) at the same time so it will be hard for me to ever know where exactly the leak was coming from and what stopped it. Anyways, the 8505 was easy to apply(i brushed it on) and ready to go out of the container(Ready to Use), no mixing. It's about like using a water based poly coat. I tried to follow the directions best I could and got it on, 2 coats, about 24 hours before rain came. It says it takes about 7 days to fully set in. We had several rains the next week and the brick stayed sticky to the touch. After about a week, it didn't alter the look of the brick unless you got up close. You can see some haze and tell it's coated, especially picking at the brick and mortar, it wouldn't chip off like would before. I haven't had any leaks since applying it. It's been a few weeks know, and we've had plenty of rain in TN. I would recommend trying this, it of course depends on what your using for. But for about 70 dollars this stuff seemed like the best quality i could find for the price and like I said it's easy to use and water based. I used it on two smaller chimneys and have a lot left. So I guess I need to find some more concrete to seal.

Easy to apply and works great!
I put this on a month or so ago after scrubbing my 3 month old patio concrete with a cleaner. I was having bad stains from leaves. After putting this on I can wash the leaf residue off with a hose without any lasting stains. I put this in a 5 gallon back pack sprayer I had and application was super easy and fast. It didn't change the appearance of the concrete. I have too small kids so I wanted to make sure what I used didn't make the concrete slick and this did not change the texture or grip of my brushes concrete at all. I am overall happy with ghostshield. It has only been on for about a month so I can't speak to durability but it doesn't seem like it will be an issue.

Great product
This is my first time using the ready to use version of this product, but it applied and works the same as the 1 gallon concentrate I've used for years. It's a great product for garage floors, or in my case, a commercial automotive shop floor, since it does repel oil. Oil spills bead up and don't soak in to the floor. After 2 years my new concrete still looks new. Once a year I scrub the floor with a push broom and some degreaser, and reapply the 8505. It takes very little product to cover the floor on this reapplication, it only soaks in in those areas that need it. In a lower traffic area like a personal garage it may never need this. In the commercial shop regular scrubbings with degreasers and oil absorbents seem to wear out the oil repellency eventually. I've found coverage claims are pretty close for old coarse concrete, but it will go much farther on smooth, new concrete. I apply it with a cheap pump sprayer, and work it around with a stiff push broom. It darkens the concrete just slightly (an improvement in my opinion). Great product.

Waterproof and easy to apply
The manufacturer did a good job providing accurate measurement on how much product needed for the job. It was easy to apply and the coating does not change the color of the concrete. When it rains, the drops do seem to be bead up on the surface. But I wish it's protective as the concrete still stains easily.

AMAZING PRODUCT!!!!
I have used so many different concrete sealers and this by far is my favorite, the water just beads right off and it was so easy to apply!!!!! The price to me is very fair too, I've spent more than this on some sealers and they don't protect against oil either. I will be buying more in the future!!!!!
