Comic Pen Nib Holder(T-40) + Zebra Comic G Model Chrome Pen 10 Nibs(PG-6C-C-K) x2 Set

I needed a dip pen for my figure painting and drawing class. After looking at a ton I picked this one because it seemed like the best quality to price balance. I’m so glad I did!!! The rubber grip makes it comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The nibs pop in and out easily but hold in strong when you are drawing. The tips hold ink well and are perfect for fine details. I love how many nibs come with it, the only downside is they are all the same. It’s a very scratchy fine nib if that’s what you’re looking for. I haven’t needed to replace one yet so I wish I had more options, but that’s on me for not reading the whole description! Overall this is a great dip pen!

I'm a rookie artist and trying out better quality analog art supplies. This dip pen is incredible for drawing. The tachikawa nib holder is very comfortable and fits my big hand well. The gpen nib is fun to use and smooth once you break it in. Though if you want thinner lines you going have to get maru mapping nibs separately. Also I'll tend to use this with multiliners as well, this is really hard to get consistent lines with. I use this with Speedball Super black ink, I'm happy with the ink and pen pairing. There is a learning curve with this though, but I feel it's worth the time to get better line variety. The nibs will cut through copy paper. I would recommend getting thicker paper, like 60lb plus.

Love this dip pen for calligraphy. great plastic and wood feel. Does not feel cheap at all.

Exactly as advertised! Accurate and durable if you’re caring properly for the nibs - clean the whole nib to avoid ink buildup and stickiness/improper fitting in the wooden holder. Take caution when cleaning the metal nibs because an accurate tool like this is very sharp and pointy, I’ve stuck myself a few times and bled due to being careless while cleaning, but that pointy end is so accurate for neat, thin lines on the page. Came with so many nibs I’ll have to wait some time before needing to buy a refill! Holder itself is super comfortable to use. Durable as well! Worth the price. Lovely product :)

Wonderful nib holder, comes with 2 sets of quills and a cap for safe storage. A really beautifully made and handy tool, highly recommend! Update after 1 week of light, gentle use: the nib holder socket becomes loose and the nibs practically fall out. I still recommend this nib holder because the nibs are excellent. I use them in a plastic holder instead. i really like the ergonomic wooden one but the socket becomes loose quickly.

The pens are really good if you’re just a beginner wanting to get into inking! The nibs are flexible and give all kinds of width and line variety. The $20 made me a bit hesitant but they were really worth every dollar!

Well I’m dumb and I thought it would be a variety of nibs but they’re all the same nibs. I actually really like it, and it gives me the opportunity to experiment with grinding nibs, if I mess it up no big deal! I’m having fun with this, very satisfying.

O suporte é "excelente". Qualidade acima da média. Já as penas, eu achei dificil de usar na primeira vez, mas acho que estou me acostumando com elas. Não tenho certeza ainda se compraria o kit com as penas novamente. O suporte, pode comprar de olho fechado.

I love the holder. Be aware the nibs are all the same so if it’s not for you, you won’t be able to use any of them! (As a left hander I can’t really use nibs with no ‘tipping’ because you can’t push them. I found another set of nibs that fit the holder) I assumed this included a selection but that’s on me for not reading the advert!
