Fantastic rugs!
Cannot say enough good about these! They stay put, look good, and wash beautifully in our front load washing machine - which is often with four dogs in our rural home - meaning sixteen muddy paws in and out multiple times a day. Sometimes even a random pee from a puppy that unfortunately doesn’t show unless I look at the backside. Dry them upside down on a railing and they are ready to go in no time, as top side dries quickly. We’ve bought four and are about to buy more.

Keeping it!
UPDATE: 12/21/20 I have been looking at this rug in my kitchen for a few days now and the more I look, the better I like it so I'm keeping it! I usually have a brightly colored kitchen runner, but since I recently created an eye-catching new valance for the window above the sink, this time I wanted a rug that was a little more subdued and did not detract from the valance; this one works nicely (despite the gray). As previously stated, the quality is very good, it appears to be well-made and the price was excellent. The design is not something you'll find in the big box stores either. It is not thick, but runners ordinarily aren't and my robot vacuum has no problem with it as it might with a thicker rug. My first purchase of a Maples Rug,, but it won't be my last! ORIGINAL POST: Just received this rug today, two days early. It did not smell at all and flattened right out on the floor. I did put some items on one end that was slightly curled to flatten it out, but I think it would have done the job on its own. The colors are very nice, but I bought this based on a review that quoted the colors as "cream, brown, indigo blue, and tan". All of these colors are there but the blue is more baby blue with bits of cornflower blue and it has a good amount of gray, which I do not use gray at all in my decorating so you see my problem. My floors are beigey vinyl with brownish-taupe "grout". I will look at it a bit longer before I decide to keep it and might try it in the front hall. Maybe I missed a different listing of colors. It seems to be an extremely nice rug and it is 6' long, not the usual five and if you "do" gray, then you will love it.

Perfect choice- well made & lovely
This rug is perfect. It’s not too thick for the door to easily glide over it, yet it’s soft. I love the no-slip backing. The colors are vibrant. I just wish it was a little longer. The fact that this is s family owned business & all made in the USA instead of China makes it a double winner. I’ll look to them first for future purchases

Nice easy to care for rug Machine wash Not too thick so door opens and you don’t trip on it Made in USA Will need rug tape on ends after year of extreme number of washings, but still looks good!

Exceeds expectations and made in USA!
I purchased four of these hall runners to reduce the effect of the cold tile during winter months in my apartment. These rugs are well made; edges are tightly finished and fabric is soft and finely woven. Color is subtle and pleasing. I noticed absolutely no oder when I took each roll out of its plastic sleeve. They all laid flat; one had some ripples but instructions say to tumble dry for 20 minutes. I just did a couple minutes and most went away. In a couple hours it will be flat. Kitties approve. Last year I had several runners purchased from a big box store a few years ago that were okay but cheaply made and a mono color plus made elsewhere. I’m thrilled to find Maples and have a couple more places I need area rugs for. I’ll buy them from Maples. Thanks!

Perfect for RV
Just received yesterday, but so far, I am pleased. These are inexpensive rugs, but perfect for my RV. I have a dog that sheds alot and these need to be washed frequently. They do have creases since they were folded but seem to be relaxing out. Besides, they are made in the US.

5 Stars, 8 Perks - 9 if you count looks
LOVE this rug! It lives behind my sofa in front of my sliding glass door to catch all the debris my dog tracks in. The pile is low (which should allow me to shake it out easily) but still a bit cushy and nice to walk on. It feels durable and grips my LVT well. Zero slip. I’m extremely pleased that it’s made in the USA (that’s becoming increasingly important to me and surprisingly challenging to find sometimes - go figure), had no odor when I pulled it out of its shipping bag, and I’m looking forward to the fact that it’s washable. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how it does in the wash. So far, I couldn’t be happier!

I like it but... AMENDED
I'm amending my original 3 star review, now 5 stars. I took several peoples suggestions and left the rubber-backed runner out in the sun for two days. I spritzed the entire rubber backing with vinegar (twice) to neutralize the weird smell. There remains only the faint smell of rubber and that is to be expected. This is now perfect!! First let me say that I like the pattern and the colors go well with my decor, it looks exactly like the photo in the listing. It is thin with a rubber backing which helps avoid tripping and so will work well in the hallway. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS THAT MENTION THE HORRIBLE SMELL!!! I told my husband when it arrived that it smells like the Zoo. It would appear that the odor is coming from the rubber backing. I'm going to try leaving it out in the sun for a few days, then run the carpet cleaner over it, hopefully that will help.
