Good quality for occassional hiker
These are my first trekking poles. I have used them on two medium length, easy difficulty, day hikes. They work well. They are easy to unfold, adjust, and don't slip or collapse when you put a lot of weight on them. They fold up quickly and don't take up much room. They seem light and easy to use. (When I am using them, I am not thinking about their weight.) I'm now 70 years old and have friends who have fallen and been injured in ways that make life miserable for them. I feel like I am still in pretty good health, but these definitely do help prevent sliding and slipping on slopes or when going downhill on a wet trail. So I feel more secure when I am using them. I bought these based on reviews that suggest that they are good "middle range" choice. The quality is better than the cheapest poles and good enough for an occasional hiker like me. I didn't want to buy $200 poles since I won't be doing the Appalachian trail next year. I feel I got a quality product at a moderate price. I'm happy.

Great for Hiking!
Great hiking poles. I received the black poles and they seem to be sturdy and good quality. The grip is nice. They were easy to put together and it's easy to change the tips. Its really easy to adjust the height. Altogether glad I got these!

Great Poles. Tips Are Too Soft.
I'm satisfied with the poles. They work well, are sturdy, collape easily. The 4 star instead of 5 is because the tips wear out very quickly. One month of daily 1 mile walks and the tips were shot. The product information does not indicate size of replacement tip nor link to replacement tip. Or even better, they could offer/include a harder more durable tip. I understand the soft tip grips better and is less prone to slip. But that's only true until it wears thru and the metal end protrudes and is incredibly slip prone. This problem is not unique to these poles.

If you are looking for a great walking stick, this is IT
A friend has these and loves them. I ordered and mine arrived and I love them more. I can’t say enough Good things about these. Top quality, light weight, but sturdy, beautifully constructed. My husband said, those should last a lifetime. My friend keeps ONE with her and one packed in her luggage as she and her husband travel often. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a quality walking stick. They adjust very easily to the proper height. Easy to collapse and most important to me as I have very sensitive skin, they FEEL great in your hand. I also love the three colors and it took me awhile to decide on the black one. They are priced well for their quality. I am ready to use mine and delighted to own a pair.

Lightweight but sturdy and easy to use
Lightweight but sturdy and easy to use. I like how the tips can be changed out depending on the conditions (muddy?) or not. They travel well and don’t weigh so much that it affects my suitcase limit.

They can be used like a cane for support, and the length can be varied
I really like these hiking and trekking poles. I had questions about putting them together and the company was very responsive to my question. The only thing I really don’t care for is the cork on the handles, but I understand why it is used. I will-use my exercise gloves to start with and gradually start using the core candles as I get used to the feel. I purchased these poles because I have a balance problem at times, and I am afraid of falling. These do the trick and they do notlook like a cane. I recommend these. They are also collapsible.

Good budget trekking poles
These are a little tricky to align and assemble at first, but it gets easier after you've done it a few times. They are also very compact for collapsible trekking poles which is what I was looking for. I am not a hardcore hiker/climber and do not intend to put my full weight on them so I'm hoping these will last a while. This kit comes with a carrying/travel bag and some attachments for various types of hiking. The bag is great for storing the attachment especially when they get dirty. The rubber attachments have metal disks inside probably to keep the pole's spike from going all the way through. Be sure to check that those are in place before using those rubber pads. My biggest concern was the rubber pads falling off after a few uses, but that hasn't happened, yet. I will update my review if that happens; otherwise, I'm happy with them so far. I read a review about problems with the straps on the handles - something about the wedge/insert coming out and causing the straps to come undone. I have not experienced that issue. The wedge/insert is physically attached to one end of the strap and it wraps around a metal dowel inside the handle. Pulling on the loop of the strap pulls that part into the handle making it secure. Pulling on the lose end (opposite end) of the strap pulls that wedge out, but it stays attached to the strap overall. Maybe there was a design issue and this is the fix? All I can say is the straps stays in place as long as my hands are inside the loop of the strap.

Disappointed With Purchase
Everything arrived timely as expected. Nice carrying bag, both poles and attachments and instructions. I couldn't give a positive review on this item because it's difficult to adjust these poles. Just when you think you have the correct height "locked" in place, the clamps make it so inconvenient. They take so much strength to clasp to hold the height in place. I gave up! I've ordered a new set of poles by a completely different brand that doesn't use the same type of clamps as a locking device. Adjustability is fair, quality is fair in my opinion.

Easy to collapse, length adjustment stays where you put it, not overly heavy
Used these a few times now, mostly for moderate difficulty walking trails. They've been solid and reliable. They stay at the adjusted length with no problems, and it is easy enough to collapse them down and store in the pack when climbing or otherwise not needing them while out on a trail. The poles are comfortable to use, although the wrist straps can get in the way a bit if you just want to hold them without the wrist strap around your wrist. The straps can chaff a little on the webbing between your thumb and finger if you hold it too close to the top. If it bothered me enough, I'd cut them off, but so far I've adjusted how I hold them and it hasn't been a big enough problem for me to worry about.
