This product saved my hair! I am writing this for anyone who might be struggling with their hair as I have. For over 9 years I have been dealing with extremely frizzy, crunchy, dry damaged looking hair that is almost like Velcro sticking to itself at the ends. Feeling grippy and squeaky if I run my fingers along the hair shafts and unable to absorb any “moisture” no matter what conditioners I have used and hair oil seems to vanish into the hair shafts leaving my hair just as dry and crunchy as before. I feel like I have tried everything under the sun and generally take very good care of my hair with gentle detangling, no heat styling and even wearing a silk night cap. And yet for years my Hair still appeared horribly damaged with an awful unmanageable texture (my hair is fine and wavy/ loose curls). Ever since we moved to this house with well water , it’s been a constant battle with my hair. Oily, limp, dry and frizzy all at the same time. My normal clarifying shampoo has barely been touching the buildup. The best way I can describe it is having day 4 hair but on day 2. I don’t know about brassiness or color changes but it did get rid of the build up! I did wash twice over a couple days to really get through the build up. This is the first time in a long time that my hair is down and has not been oily by the end of the day. My hair feels soft and the natural wave in my texture came right back out! It is drying because of how it is stripping the buildup in the hair. I shampooed twice, applied the product and let sit, then did a conditioning treatment/mask after using. I plan to purchase again and use regularly!

This stuff is amazing! The treatment literally pulled well water residue right out of my daughters hair—you can actually see and feel the difference. The before and after photos say it all. The second photo also shows a blowout, but the color change you’re seeing is *only* from the Malibu treatment—no added color at all. So impressed with these results!

Seems to work alright , it smells kinda bad but I suppose that can be expected with a product that works like this. Its kind of like vinegar and blood scented haha. But other than that my hair does seem lighter and brighter after use , so it does work to get out the yucky hard water build up in my hot pink ends. ( it starts getting a denim blue tint to it after a while without using this ) it takes a few run throughs to work , and one pack was enough to run through my semi thin shoulder length hair a few times .

If you have demi-permanant dye in your hair or toner, and did not use this product right before your salon visit, do not use this product until right before you go back to the salon. On the other hand, if you want to strip your color, do use this product. I went to the salon 8 days prior to using this. I did my research first. I'm actually a bit obsessive about researching so it prolongs purchasing things. I've wanted to use a clarifier for a while, since I learned about them, because I have very hard well water. This one was the winner for me. My hair is primarily bleached, with root growth of about 5 months that I get highlighted regularly to blend. Then it gets toned to different shades, depending on what I'm going for. This product, on one hand is amazing. My hair has never felt so clean. My natural hair that has grown in since fully bleaching my hair was shiny, smooth, and beautiful. What I wasn't expecting was for the rest of my hair to be completely stripped back to the bleach only. It went from a creamy chocolate (stunning blonde; I highly recommend trying that color toner) to a super light, summer blonde. After reaching out to malibu c on their Facebook page, they informed me that if I didn't use this treatment on my hair prior to getting it done, the color would sit on the mineral buildup and therefore come off with it. I greatly appreciate their feedback and learning this. I asked if they would consider putting this information in their directions or product description. They did not respond. So, while I don't leave long reviews typically, I'd like others who research products to be able to take into consideration there is a time to use Malibu C hardwater treatment, and it is not after going to the salon and paying for the hair you want, it is before. I will continue to use this product because it is amazing, albeit at the right time. I gave it 3 stars for the misleading information which caused me to wash $$$ down the drain but the treatment itself is 5 stars.

Ne correspond pas à ma commande et quantité MINUSCULE!! : j'ai commandé le Malibu C Hard Water avec la mention "élimine les minéraux pour purifier les cheveux" comme indiqué sur les photos car mon eau est très calcaire, or j'ai reçu celui-ci: "élimine la décoloration et restaure le volume et le lustre éclatant"! (voir photo) mes cheveux ne sont même pas décolorés. De plus l'emballage est MINUSCULE, il tient dans la paume d'une main d'enfant de 3 ans sans dépasser!! (la taille de l'emballage fait environ 5cmx7cm pas plus donc ridicule pour le prix!)
