Ematic 8GB MP3 Video Player with FM Tuner/Recorder and 1.5-inch Color Screen, Red

This is one sweet little device. 8GB of MP3's when I go to the gym... how can you beat that. It is easy to load, easy to play, easy to keep with you... and for a fraction of what other MP3 players are going for. It does exactly what it says it does, without all the hoopla of "big name" devices. If you want a fully functional device to deliver your music without any fanfare, you can't go wrong with this player....

This is by far, one of the worst purchases made I’ve made on Amazon. When I tell you this thing is garbage, I sincerely mean it. If I could give negative stars I would. It won’t turn on, unless plugged in to power source. When plugged it, it’s impossible to transfer any data to it. I have several computers with different operating systems so somehow I can’t chock this one up to operator error. This thing is just garbage. Don’t spend your time or money on it.

This thing is surprisingly really good. Audio is good, plays video, and I believe it has a picture viewer. I haven't used that feature yet, but I imagine it's just as good as the other parts. Seriously, READ THE MANUAL! I'm one of those people who don't really read manuals and just wing it. This one is actually really confusing and you will need to read the instructions or nothing will work, or it won't work the way you want it to. Example? To press play you actually press the power button. The interface is so utterly confusing sometimes. Also the other thing that may suck is the video player. Holding the player in certain angles will wash out the system. From too light to see, to almost a negative of the video. I found that looking straight on causes a washed out look. Best to view from slightly above. Otherwise than this, it's a pretty solid device that doesn't break in the heat like other mp3 players. Apart from the weird menu system I'd totally buy it again.

I ALWAYS HAVE BOUGHT E-MATICS & THIS IS A BIT BIGGER THAN THE LAST ONES BOUGHT BUT I LIKE THEM A LOT GREAT FOR TAKING ON WALKS & I LIKE THE LOW PRICES & COLORS HAVE LOST ONE & IT BROKE MY HEART BUT I WASNT OUT A LOT OF MONEY JUST WISH DEVICES WOULD BE LOUDER LIKE BACK IN THE DAY THEY ONLY GO UP SO LOUD NOW, ALSO RADIOS & MP3 PLAYERS SHUT OFF, INSTEAD OF FADE-OUT TO SAVE BATTERY LIFE-BUT WHAT ARE THEY SAVING IT FOR? IF IST NOT GOING TO PLAY? STUPID ! BRING BACK THE FADE-OUT AT LEAST I STILL HAVE MUSIC FOR AWILE LONGER!

Not easy to use, lies about Supporting Mp4 video and mpg, Doesn't have a SD card slot, difficult to use. Does not work unless plugged in at all times. Gets a star because has games but the controls are weird. Seriously do not buy.

Had high hopes, but found it very disappointing. The device is cute but poorly made. Terrible layout/functions of the buttons, and the switches for On/Off, etc. are cheap little brittle plastic things that don't look/act like they'll last. Worst part was that the entire system became corrupted right off the bat, so that nothing worked on it, except the radio (giving 2 stars for that). Had hoped that RESET would clear everything off and rewrite the program so we could start all over, after it got corrupted, but no such luck. The entire device is not very intuitive for navigating, the text is hard to read, the corruption made it worthless, and all in all, guess you get what you pay for! :( Returning for credit and will try something else.

the ematic mp3 player was the BEST and a replacement for my old iphone 4s that broke ressently:( but anyways, whats so funny this mp3 player when you upload a video to this is a nokia watching youtube bacicly but i dont care since i never use a nokia before.

Item received was not turning on. I bought second one same problem. It says charged but when you turn on it says low battery. Seems that these items have expired batteries, probably were made lond time ago .

Really great little mp3 player. It is actually a little bigger than i expected which is nice, it seems like lots of mp3 players now are the small jogging ones, but this one is a decent size. Really easy to use, you just drag and drop files from your computer, NO extra "music apps" needed on your computer, and no syncing! The only issues i would find would be that when you are playing music the song titles are small, but you can still see them so not a big deal, and the play/pause button is the same as the on/off button on the side of the mp3 player, would be more convenient if it was the middle square button but it just takes getting used to. If you are looking for a no nonsense mp3 that is easy to use at a decent price this is a great item! Its very light weight and the blue is more "turquoise" in person. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a "normal" mp3 player!

Worked really well for a couple of weeks, then wouldn’t hold a charge and now won’t even turn on when plugged in.
