Good parts, bad blower
My wife and I own two older Expeditions, 1 2008 and a 2010. Both of them had this resistor fail and replaced them both and they work great. Having gone to school to be a mechanic back in the early 90's, I knew that if the the resistor kept failing that the blower motor was also failing. So after the last install in August of 2025, it failed again on my wife's Expo again, i am replacing the resistor then planning for the blower to be replaced. Due to disability, I am unable to do the work myself, which is a downer in itself. So, if you fix and it fails again, look at the blower motor.

This part lasted only a couple of months.
My low Speed on my 2012 F150 was not working. I replaced it with this part. Today all speeds but my high Speed work now. I assume it’s this part that lasted about 500 miles. I’m going to Ford to get a quality part that will last.

Replacement for 2012 Ford F-150 STX
Works for my F-150 STX 2012 Ford. Now I have all fan speeds. I had this part replaced a year ago by an auto repair shop and it failed and the factory resistor failed years before that. Just change it out yourself if you have a Ford -150. There are some good instructions on Youtube.
