WAVEBUILDER Cocoa & Shea Wave Butter Moisture Revitalizer

As a black male with short coarse hair that is in a wave pattern style I have tried a lot of products to see which ones work on my hair type. To date there are only two that I have found that help manage, moisturize as and hold my waves...this is one of them and the whipped butter type of product that I have found that does work for me. When I wake up I wet my hair and user this product on wet h as hair then comb/brush it throughto distribute and style immediately this product changes my hair texture giving it a wetter moist look and stretches out the curls, it does not have hold ability but plays well with water and Parnevu extra dry leave in conditioner which will provide hold after du-ragging and drying over time or with a hair dryer, when my hair for oesnt respond to this product any more it either needs to be conditioned or texturized. You don't need to use this product every day as you will see it running from your hair when you wet it the next morning this product buildup can be refreshed every 2-3 days and you can gage when you need morextra product based on whether your is looking dull and dry. If this product works on your hair buy it, it is the same amount 4 oz as similar shea butter/ creme products for way less money.

The product looks to be half gone, but may it measures out? Anyway still affordable and works well in terms of shine and not greasy. Not able to find else, do I'd buy it again. Works nice with durag and short hair, haven't tested with thicker hair, but might at be worth a shot, as it different than what I've seen at beauty supply stores... But then again it's been years since I went to one.

This worked very well in the beginning development stage of my wave building. I spray my hair with hot water brush and add the wave butter. I see other reviews stating that it smelled bad. The wave butter does have an expiration date. The 2 pack I purchased had an expiration date and opened it and smelled great and had a light color. If you see some discoloration or a bad smell, it may be because it past it’s date and went bad and should not be used and returned. It was filled to 1/2 of its capacity, but you honestly don’t need a lot of this product. A little goes a long way.

This product smells great and my girlfriend definitely noticed I was using something different in my hair and she loved it. As far as its actual use, it fails to live up to the hype that I was urged to see in action. For a moisturizer I usually use "Pink" for most people "Pink" is common and works great. The Wave butter just couldn't match up to the same amount of moisture that I was used to. Sometimes I would end up applying it 2 and 3 times in a day just to feel that same moisture that I felt from the "Pink" stuff. Sadly I will have to retire this product.

The reason why I chose to give this a five stars, is that it work immediately I've always had trouble getting waves on the top of my head and as soon as I put the product in my hair it started to wave up just after a few strokes of my brush. I would absolutely love this product if it came in larger quantity's but I am sure I really don't need that much since it work so well. Overall it very good and it does not smell half bad..I will defiantly be buy more of this butter and I would recommend it to anyone I know that wants waves fast.

Well after seeing numerous amazon reviews, youtube reviews and research. I decided to give this a try. It smells decent...not to overpowering. Its works very well with very little. I've had it for about 3 days now and I'm still using the cream stuck to the top of the jar. To say a little goes a long way is an understatement. My hair is waved up and soft as butter. I also bought the pomade that has cocoa and shea. The two working together is a no brainer. I recommend them both.

I am Fabulously 50 and recently went low and easy. This wave cream keeps my hair shiny and healthy. I hate grease in my hair. It has a nice clean scent.

Decent smell locks my waves in place good I use this everyday instead of using pomades

I've always been hesitant to use products that purportedly assist in building waves. I must have been feeling a bit reckless when I bought this then -or maybe I was in a very good mood . Either way, I'm glad I did because it gets the job done. It's not a replacement for regular brushing of your hair and putting your du-rag on but- does it help with your wave pattern? The answer is a resounding yes!
