I wasn't expecting them to work so well.
Happy to have these. I purchased these after buying another set from the same company, and wasn't expecting much, due to the low price, and was surprised at the quality Now they are my go to's when assembling tools for a painting. They hold water well, and are easy to handle. The hairs do not fall out easily, well bound in. and the sizes are very versatile for me.

This leveled up my painting. Loves these brushes so much

Nice watercolor brushes
Nice watercolor brushes which perform well for the price. Clearly attempts to imitate the more expensive Silver Black Velvet brushes which are excellent but overpriced. Decent starters watercolor brushes (synthetic squirrel) and would recommend.

Great set of brushes
I am by no means a professional artist. I paint for fun, and I wanted a set that would feel nice in my hands and paint well. I use these with my watercolor markers, and I love them. Clean strokes, no shedding, able to hold a good bit of water without dumping it everywhere. Great value! And I love that they come in a case.

I’m pleasantly surprised
These brushes are knock-offs of a more expensive brand and I decided to give them a try because the price was irresistible. I have been very pleased with them so far and at least in my opinion they are every bit as good as the more expensive brand. I can’t really tell them apart.

my favorite water color brushes
i have been using these brushes for several months now and have found them very versatile and they hold as much paint as you want. a quick dry with a paper towel and a some finger shaping before letting them dry has helped keep a sharp point and i have not had any problems with shedding that are normally associated with cheaper brushes. keeping them on my buy again list.

My favorite brushes for watercolor
I have 2 of this set. I have tried many brushes over the years. They run the spectrum from very expensive sables to cheap Walmart brands. These Dainayw brushes are my favorite. Very easy to use. They load and hold paint well and flow onto paper beautifully. The tip is a perfect point- not too crazy sharp but I can make very fine lines and detail work. They have kept their shape and held up well after 3 years of use.

Great for beginners
I bought these brushes as a replacement for my silver brushes that look similar to these, but are more expensive. They arrived on time and in excellent condition in their box. All the brushes were individually wrapped in a plastic sheet and with a plastic topper to protect the hairs. For a beginners brush, they are excellent. But compared to my silver brushes, they didn't make the cut. They hold a lot of water (making it easier to paint longer with one brush load) and are fairly easy to control, but some of the brushes lost a few hairs mid painting and some of the points were slightly bent. They also didn't come to a sharp enough point like my silver brushes, making it more effort to paint fine details. The brushes were also slightly larger than my silver brushes both in length and hair width. I would recommend these to a beginner watercolor painter because they are far superior to all the cheap brushes you would buy at a craft store, and because of the blend of synthetic and squirrel hairs that make the brush hold more water and have a softer hair than a fully synthetic brush. Had I not already owned a few silver brushes, then I would have definitely kept these. Sadly, I did end up returning them. PHOTOS: The first picture is a companion between the Dainayw size 6 brush on the left and the silver black velvet size 6 brush on the right. - the second photo is of the dainayw size 6 with a loaded brush head. - third photo is of swatches from both brands. I have highlighted the Silver black velvet brushes so it's easier for you to compare.
