I buy these for work they are the best for boots I wear 8 inch boots they go above the boots and stay up decent they fit perfectly no funny parts bothering your toes like other brands I hate that.best part is they are so much thicker than all other socks except winter socks that are to thick for normal weather wear first pack lasted me a year 12 hours a day 10 miles a day in redwings they never got holes just kinda lose thickness and get stuff like all socks do ,not much sweaty feet either but I have 300$ boots idk what cheap boots would be like in these socks but you can’t pass it up for 30$

Comfortable - Hold Up - Medium Thick
While I only wear them for hiking or skiing (20 times a year or 4-7 times per pair), they have held up well over a couple of years. They are high enough for hiking boots and ski boots. They are not thick though. I'd say medium, but it would be nice to have a quantitative measure.

Great socks!
I have had these for 2 months now and have worn them on an elk hunting Colorado where I put on 100 miles on foot. I have also taken them and worn them in waders for duck hunting the Mississippi River, pheasant hunting the plains, and hiking the driftless area of western WI. They are tough, warm, and shed sweat really well. They are also comfortable in all sorts of different boots and hold up really well to the abuse of rubbing in boots that are loose like a wader or rubber boot. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. For reference, they are not thick like a wool sock, but they are by no means a glorified tube sock. You can feel as soon as you put them on that they are well padded in the places they need to be and vented in areas that need to be.
