Best call of duty game ever. Excellent Purchase!
This is my first time Buying a collectors edition from a game, and I certainly do not regret it. The game is great and the hardened edition extras enhance you gameplay even more. CAMPAIGN: A very good sequel to the Cod Black ops game, I like the fact that the story ultimately depends on your decisions and you will get your ending based on what you did. MULTIPLAYER: Amazing yet again, rank up in Public matches unlock weapons and new equipment or play with your friend with your rules. ZOMBIES: My favorite gamemode, I was totally blown up with this mode! New weapons and new maps make the zombies experience even better than in previous games, I totally loved it. THE BAD: I gave this product 5 stars however there are some minor details that I don't really mind I mean come on, this is an awesome game, but there's no perfect game. 1: The game tends to freeze (specifically when playing zombies mode map mob of the dead ) It has happened to me 3 times since the first time I played (30-08-2013) so yeah... 2: The audio sometimes gets messed up (Again, in zombies mode, And yet again, Mob of the Dead) my friend says "sounds like it's farting!" I bet you guys also had this problem at some point. And also a very small side note for amazon as you may know the cover of the box is made out of cardboard, When I received it, it had a few marks and broke in the corners several days after but it's ok I don't really mind THAT much. Overall, AWESOME game, AWESOME hardened features, ALL AWESOME!!! Fully recommend you to get this hardened edition just for 20 bucks more. PS: For real fans like me, I TOTALLY recommend you on getting the DLC it's really good as well. I am a holder of season pass, 7 personalization packs and the extra slots pack (I know, i'm quite the crazy fan xD). For more info check out the black ops 2 official site and... I guess this is it for this review! Have a good day everyone! EDIT: Ok so it's been 2 months since I first started to play and like I said before, the game tends to freeze and forces me to do the hard PS3 reboot process but that didn't happen so often and I didn't mind that much, however these days the game has keep freezing over and over again, It has frozen 5 times already today and I'm really dissapointed, yestaerday I finished the campaign, I started over, and right at the end before the ending sequence starts the game freezes, right there. My CD has NO SCRATCHES AT ALL and my Ps3 is good as new so there's definetly something wrong with the game itself, I am very mad, It's bothering me a lot and my amazon return guarantee already expired. If I could, I would rate down this product, honestly people, don't buy it. Maybe it's a problem with the hardened edition, maybe because I have tons of DlC, I don't know. This freeze problem hasn't happend with my other games. Seriously Treyarch what the heck. Shame on you, just because this game is originally designed for Xbox dosen't mean you won't care about PS3 users, I think you don't care about the players at all, go to hell Vonderhaar.

Best COD to date IMO - Edited - Frequent freezing
Edit (3/20/13): The latest patch seems to have fixed the freezing issue, as I have yet to freeze even once since. Edit (2/28/13): Until Activision/Treyarch fix the issue causing frequent console freezing I cannot rate this higher than a 2. This game will freeze your console frequently, requiring a hard reset each time. It was great after the first patch but since the two after that it has been a freezefest. As a fan of the first COD Black OPS I was looking forward to the second installment in the series by Treyarch. I have been thoroughly impressed and it has certainly exceeded my expectations. Everything we loved from the first BO (Emblem editor, an enthralling story line, and ZOMBIES) is back, yet improved, as well as new features including new maps, a large arsenal of new pointstreak rewards, Grief zombies mode, and much more. The maps for this release blow MW3's small, cluttered maps out of the water. Plus, who doesn't love a Nuketown 2025 24/7 mode right out of the gates?

Black Ops 2 The Day After Release Review
I own every COD game for PS3 going back to the first COD4 MW game including World at War, MW2, BO and now BO2. I also own and play Battlefield 3 online for PS3. I received the Hardened Edition pf Black Ops 2 from Amazon yesterday evening. Amazon has been awesome. They followed through perfectly as the my pre-ordered game was shipped via 2 day request but it was delivered to me yesterday on release day. This is an early review based on a few hours of online game play with Black Ops 2 (BO2). My purpose of this review is to give potential buyers of BO2 my impression as an avid COD for PS3 gamer as I compare BO2 with my experiences of previous PS3 releases from the COD series. I also am providing information about some of the problems many users have experienced during the last two days of online gaming. I am mostly an online gamer therefore I haven't tried the campaign mode yet. I have experienced the problems described in the other reviews here relating to online play. I have had trouble being able to join games. When I have joined games you have to wait forever for additional players to balance teams. If you are lucky you will get to play a few games to try it out but then will get locked out with repeated sever error messages for the rest of the night due to overcrowded servers. I did have some success joining a group of other players who set up a private match with players they had played with a few times when they were able to join matches and our group of 10-12 players were finally able to get some good gaming in to test out BO2. I also tried Zombie Nuketown 2025 for a about a half of an hour of matches. Most of these problems are related to overcrowded game servers, match making servers, data and game statistics servers, etc.. There are simply too many gamers trying to play the game all at once. However, my experience of the game itself is that the online play is a blast. From my limited time playing I feel this may be the best online COD based PS3 game to date. I really have enjoyed the online BO2 matches that I have played. The controls are very responsive. The graphics are good. I like the weapons. The maps I played have all been really engaging. I haven't experienced the same annoying lag, delays getting shot or problems shooting that I did with MW3 for the first month or two after it's release. The overall feel of the game seemed more polished to me than ever previous COD game released for the PS3. Players who are used to previous COD games for PS3 might feel that the controls are noticeably more sensitive and responsive in BO2 compared to the previous releases. I found this enhanced control to be a positive during online game play. It seems as though the most critical parts of the game dynamics are there to make BO2 one of the best in the COD series. If possible I highly recommend potential buyers purchase the Nuketown 2025 add-ons. If you aren't able to obtain the code for these add-ons another way then I feel that both the online match map and the Zombie map are worth the extra cost of the Hardened Edition ($20 more). The Nuketown 2025 and the extra Nuketown Zombie content is simply provided as a code. Check the stores and here for additional copies of the hardened edition or possibly for the game with the extra content code. If you can't find hardened edition in stock right now it may come available in the future. I can't say for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if this extra content may be offered as a paid down loaded content at a later date. While the criticisms about the current problems are justified what I would recommend is that players take a deep breath and give Activision a week or two to sort out the problems with the game servers. I know that last year both MW3 and BF3 had huge obstacles to overcome during the first months after their release. I have hope that BO2's problems will be solved much sooner. I am confident that additional patches will come soon to deal with any major bugs that are discovered. I expect BO2 gamers will be up and running at full speed in a week or two and hopefully most of these issues will fade into the past. I give this game a four out of five star rating at this time with the expectation that the problems relating to the over crowded online servers and any bugs in the game will be resolved soon. I rated five out of five stars for my early impression of the online game play and minus one star for the early problems with online game play that really should have been ironed out before the game's official release. I might amend my rating in the future when Activision is able to promptly solve all the problems with their match servers that are currently effecting early release online game play .

Long awaited in my house
I don't play the PS3. I just order the games. My husband and teenage son constantly have this on. Seriously. All.The.Time I never get to watch the 60" TV because black ops II is constantly on the screen. Question: Does this game not end? Ever? One would think they would have passed it by now. Though it might be the online play that is making it seem never-friggin'-ending to me. Since I don't play it, I can only rate on what I see. Guns, blood, and killing, oh my! OT: what happened to cutsie little video games where you jumped up to get coins and mushrooms? Long gone are those days in my house. My son and my husband use their blue tooth to, from what I hear, boss other people around. Speaking of boss, my teenager said we had to order this edition because the maps that came with this one were boss. Whatever. I saw a zombie. I assume that is one of the maps. (To be fair, he paid for part of the game.) It does make an excellent punishment tool when he (choose which he it might be) isn't listening. Grounded from Black Ops II. That is so not fair mom! All in all, I guess it's a good game, since everyone and their mother are talking about it (me being the mother). I'm giving it 5 stars based on the fact that they won't turn it off willingly. Their enthusiasm not mine.

Great Game
This Item came with the Pre Order Deal and that was my main reason for purchasing. Pre order content was included as offered and the game itself is just as fun as the first Black Ops. This game gives you a little different spin on your Create a Class if your familare from the first game. From What I've played so far there are different weapons but there is also a change to the load out screen. I've noticed they've added a couple of "Wild Card" slots that allow you to costumize even further. With that said they cut you off at 10 items ie. Primary, secondary, perks ect. Each of these counts as one item out of ten. I'm hoping that when you prestige each time, your maximum # of Items will increase as this is how the advantage of prestiging should be. I've never played the campaign for either game so can't help there. Also I have not played the Zombies on this game yet but I've seen they've added some playing modes. In All Good game .

Great Gamer
Got it on the first day and loved it ever since. Although Treyarch in the original Black ops got complaints that the multiplayer was not so great. They have really made sure the multiplayer was good in this game. Also Black Ops brought the best zombies in Call of Duty, they sort of ruined the entire point of zombies. In Black Ops you had leaderboards to say, "Hey, he made it to a far round", now your leaderboards are completely different to make it useless to have it. Now they added ranks which completly out of the way ruins the way you are supposed to play zombies, you know to make it to far rounds to break your record? Well now you are getting to far rounds to rank yourself up. The catch Treyarch but in was if you practically do not play every day you get deranked. To me they did a somewhat good job on the maps but the experience is not as good as Blacks ops had.

great game. that breaks your ps3
now i have been playing call of duty since MW2 and it's a good series of game (other then it's for the most part the same game repeated many times) but a word of caution if you bought or are thinking of buying this for PS3. DON'T this game might break your blu-ray disk drive (that thing that you use to put the game disks in) and you will be unable to play any disk based games on it YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED . now lets talk about the game it's self. gameplay(MP) you should know the main possess. shoot, kill, die repeat. the major innovation is the pick 10 create a class system where instead of a set system you can instead use 10 points and do whatever you want with them. you don't want a secondary don't choose it get a 2nt attachment for your primary. you don't want a primary don't pick one. gameplay(SP) now this is the sequel to my favorite FPS and it continues the story of it with three new twists. one you can create a class in the single player. you unlock more stuff as you progress through the story. second the RTS style strike force missions. this is a touchy subject. people LOVE it or you HATE it so i cant say much. and 3rd multiple endings and story choices. you can choose different paths and choose different options that change the story. there are only a few time where this happens but it is still a good new thing breaking away from the usual. Zombies oh hot damn this is... different and i for one don't very much like it the zombies mode in BO1 was better in my opinion. but i will say the best thing about BO2 zombies is join-able games, someone leaves invite a friend they can join.
