It came in a proper Luceco display box, it was easy to replace the old one (different make) that had gone faulty. It was the cheapest on here, and it looks just like all the others. Probably all made in the same factory. I liked the way the wiring is configured inside - a better layout the the old one. It's in and working, who knows how long this one will last. You pays you money and takes your choice.

The old unit finally stopped functioning after the PIR screen succumbed to the weather. Purchased the new edition to replace the old. Wiring instructions a bit confusing, why use the letter A which does have a meaning if you are in the know. Why not just say Live feed from PIR to light fitting, which everyone could understand. Otherwise easy to connect and fit to the wall. It works fine and angled down a bit picks up animals moving around the back yard in the dark. The unit is very reasonably priced and if it lasts for almost 20 years like the old one will be very good value for money.

As with some other reviews here, this thing had a mind of its own....After spending ages trying to see if it was being triggered by something moving in the distance, I eventually had to give up. The thing kept switching on and off at random. The tech team were very quick to respond and and sent me a replacement. Exactly the same issue. Regardless of how low the sensitivity was set, it still kept coming on. Another unit was sent to me but that too was the same. Started to doubt my fitting skills so bought a different make. That one worked perfectly. Don't buy this item.

Very useful able to connect to outdoor lamps to continue use after unit stopped working.

Excellent as expected

Previous El-Cheapo 120W PIR light filled up with water and false-triggered all night. Replaced the whole setup with this standalone Luceco PIR unit and a couple of LED floodlights. Now this one's going the same way. Water doesn't appear to be getting in through the feeble grommets at the back of the junction box. Could be getting in round the sides of the cover - there's no rubber seal round the edge. Could also be getting in at the back of the PIR unit. My only recourse at this point was to drill a 1.5mm hole at the bottom front of the lens and let the water trickle out. I guess you get what you pay for. I too had problems with lack of instructions. The manufacturer's website did contain a manual for this family of PIR units, but still useless as to the spec. (I wanted to wire this unit in parallel with another one, so that they all come on at once.) Oh, AND the clip broke off when I tried taking the cover off, to check where the water was getting in. A real quality item. :(

Good but difficult to adjust not the way you can adjust it but you only need the smallest of a turn to alter it completely took a while and a lot of patience to get it right

Op laagste sensitivity stand blijft hij zeer gevoelig. Na 2 jaar defect, blijft aan. Geen antwoord op mail naar leverancier. Deze vooral niet kopen, is weggegooid geld.
