From everybodyโs favorite โmomagerโ of E! โs hit reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians comes a relatable, brutally honest memoir of Kris Jennerโs never-before told story of the savvy businesswoman behind the Kardashian empire. You think you know her... Now read the stories even her famous children havenโt heard in this gripping and inspirational New York Times bestseller from the superstar matriarch of one of the biggest celebrity empires of our time. On Keeping Up with the Kardashians , weโve watched Kris Jenner do it all. She runs a household, manages her childrenโs blockbuster careers, produces four television shows featuring her larger-than-life family, and still finds time to tweet to her fans. In this thoughtful, candid, and no-nonsense memoir, Kris opens up about the parts of her life that arenโt always in the spotlight: her marriage to Robert Kardashian, the late father of her four oldest children; her husband Olympic champion Bruce Jennerโs pivotal role in ending the Kardashiansโs messy divorce so they could all move forward as a family; her close relationships with Nicole Brown Simpson and O. J. Simpson and her insider knowledge about the murder, its aftermath, and the infamous trial; and even her controversial decision to make her charming family into an international brand. If you think your life is chaotic, try keeping up with Kris Jenner. Review: Great, honest read - I am surprised by the either extreme love or hatred that the Kardashian name provokes. I love watching the show, I loved reading the book. Kris is honest & reflective, & as a celebrity, is obviously tough skinned as the public can be incredibly critical as proven by the reviews I have read here about this book. They have feelings too, folks! Envy & jealousy are awful things.. Yes, they have privilege others may not, but that's true of most celebrities & many public figures. They are still human beings tempted, hurt and delighted by the same things as any other human being as written in the book. I admire Kris very much, actually. I would have loved to have her connections & drive to establish for my kids the great start that she was able to engage her children with, but such is life. I love that on their show they educate about so many different topics. If they have a procedure, it's on the show. If they have a heart for the homeless, it's on the show. They do enjoy a lavish lifestyle, but I would not trade places with them. All that public attention brings its own challenges & dangers.. Kudos to the Kardashians for realizing their influence & using their platform for good where they can, such as Kim's involvement with the release of Cyntoia Brown & her advocacy in prison reform, her segment on homelessness, etc. Love & hugs, Kardashian! Onward! Review: Read the book...great read...you'll love it! - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book. I just started watching "Keeping Up w/Kardashians" this year (2011). In years past, when I would flip through channels, I would just flip past the show (no particular reason)...just didn't have much interest. Then, earlier this year, I remember once looking for something interesting on TV...I ran across "Keeping Up..." and decided, ok, I'll check it out. Long story short...I got hooked immediately...mainly because of Kris Jenner...and Bruce (awesome chemistry and personality). Clearly, the success of the show...the glue that holds the Kardashian/Jenner clan together is without question, Kris Jenner. When the book came out...I had to have it. I love in Chapter 6 when your life had gotten back on track after meeting Bruce and the two of you had gotten engaged. Your thoughts were - "Thank you, God. Thank you for taking me through the storm of craziness and having me come out the other side as a whole, happy girl without too much damage." My thoughts after reading your book are: Thank you God for using Kris Jenner's life to inspire me to: to 1st be a lover of Christ and always pray...to put family 2nd to Christ and create wonderful, lasting memories...to not be afraid to take risks every once in while...to learn from mistakes, grow, succeed in and enjoy life!

Kredits for Kardashian
I downloaded Kris Jenner's book on Saturday November 5th and finished it on November 6th. I am a little disappointed in the 4 or 5 reviews I just now read and felt the opinions seem to go over and beyond a normal book review.. I really enjoyed Kris Jenner's journey and did not hate this book at all. I am glad I didn't read the reviews prior to purchasing this book because all I read was so negative. Yes, maybe Kris had a priveleged life but she isn't stepping on people or hurting anyone in order to be able to get what she has in life. I liked the book and found it interesting from start to finish. These bad reviews are totally opposite of what I read. Kris Jenner I felt, was being very honest and did not tell a story that would put herself on a pedastal. It was Robert Kardashian who gave her this priveleged life but after that she was on her own. I believe anyone who watches the TV show on E! will appreciate the information that Kris shares with the readers. I thought her close relationship with Nicole Simpson was interesting since little is discussed about their relationship on their reality show. This book was easy to read and I liked it. The only thing I didn't like was the nasty comments that were left as a personal attack at Kris Kardashian in general. I never expected to read such creepy comments and can't imagine how this book could create such mean remarks. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first. thumbs down to to the nasty reviews. The book was good and that's my real unbiased opinion.

Interesting Book
There's just something so fascinating about these people. I thought this was a great book, filled with new things that I didn't know about the family. The stuff about OJ & Nicole was very interesting to read about, and, I also found out how they came about to get their hit show. I thought it was very odd that there was absolutely no mention whatsoever about the infamous "Kim Kardashian Sex Tape". That surely should have been written about in this book. It was blatantly left out, in my opinion. I think Kris Jenner is a genuinely good person at heart-- who truly loves her family & friends very much. She has lived a very pampered & luxurious life, and has many goals. Way more goals than any "real people" would ever have, and she does admit her fame and opportunities are large in part due to her daughters--But again-- no mention of the sex tape--which I think has a lot to do with their fame & fortune of the family. Love them or hate them-- There's no denying that the Kardashians are a fascinating bunch. If you like them even just a little bit-- I highly recommend this book. I really enjoyed it & had a hard time putting it down. It was very well written & a very enjoyable read.

Treacle Tart
What an enviable life...lots of family love, perfect husband and six perfect children, so many dear friends and innumerable best ones, success on tv, beauty, health and fashion lines, each house a perfect home, doing what she loves, wearing beautiful clothes and a transcendent, spiritual experience having a neck lift in which she lost her fear of losing control. The woman has it all with each day better than the last. How does she do all that business, lunch with her girlfriends, play tennis, organize fabulous parties and weddings, travel, go out every night and still have time to be a supermom to her children??? Read this in depth, honest and soul baring account of southern California living at its best. The story grabs the reader from the first self absorbed sentence to the last. And a great bonus is her insights into Nicole and OJ Simpson's relationship. PS, she does not cover her husband, Bruce's, conversion to being a woman or their divorce in 2015 as the book was published in 2011.

Kris Jenner....And All Things Kardashian
I devoured this book. It was brutely honest when it came to her personal romantic life and I found that to be honorable. I felt that most people in that kind of situation would have swept it under a rug and not shared that obviously painful chapter in her life. This book for the most part showed courage, strength and incredibly strong love for her family and friends. Kris doesn't seem to take any of her and her families success for granted and works hard to maintain a n even balance for everyone. Just awe inspiring how she could turn nothing into an empire. I don,t care what anyone says........the Kardashian's deserve to be famous just as much as anyone else. In fact they have worked harder perhaps branding themselves than A list actors and in my opinion they are more deserving They are all so unique and kudo's to Kris, Bruce and Robert for raising such a wonderful group of children. ( Drug free in this day and age ). I would recommend this to anyone looking to find strength and love for family to read this.

what a fun and inspiring tale!
I began to watch the "Kardashians" when they previewed on Netflix. I had heard so much about Kim Kardashian that I was curious to see what all the hub-bub was all about. While watching the famed series, I came to know and enjoy not only Kim, but the many other characters that compiled this amazing family unit....I've been a faithful fan ever since. Kris's book lets the reader in on how the series came about and more than that, we get insight into the remarkable life that started it all. Many famous people and names, the inside story on OJ and Nicole, and all the fun , love, faith, and forgiveness that has shadowed this remarkable lady. A better than good read.....I highly recommend its worth reading!

Kardashian Fans will appreciate this book
It took me all of 10 hours to read this book because I couldn't put it down. I have watched every episode of KUWTK and still learned a lot from Kris' book. It was interesting to read about her life from the beginning. I didn't feel as if she was self promoting herself in anyway, just sharing her experiences both good and tragic. As wonderful as her life has been/is, she is not a stranger to heartbreak and family tragedy. Her point of view on Nicole Simpson's murder is very personal and I don't feel as if Kris exploited it in any way. As far as the family's rise to fame, there were definitely some things that were "glossed over" or even left out but those who watch know what the deal is anyway. One thing I do find strange (now less than one week after Kim announced divorce) is that Khloe's wedding and planning it, and how Khloe and Lamar first got together were described in detail and Kim's over the top "fairytale" wedding, and Kris Humphries were barely mentioned, definitely makes me go "hmmmmmm". I also noticed at the end in her acknowledgements, every single person, including Lamar gets a big thank you except Scott. All in all, if you are a Kardashian fan and interested in how Kris started her life and entered into the hi profile world, it will keep you interested.

Lettura leggera e piacevole
Per gli appassionati del programma trovo sia un libro piacevole e โstacca la spinaโ. Chiaramente arriva al 2010/2011, quindi manca una decade di avvenimenti ma vale comunque la pena.

Kris Jenner the mom of the Kardashians
I really like this book. Kris is very open and honest. She definately had her hands full raising those girls and then having more with Bruce. Poor Robby, being the only boy. I think that she should be recommended for a mom of the year award. To do what she did and how she did it and how her girls turned out, she deserves it. She has a very full life and I like at Christmas time everyone comes home to moms house and wear the same pjs. Kris will always be a #1 in my books! She always knows what is going on everywhere and with whom ever in the family.

Suprised....
I really enjoyed this book. I have never really paid much attention to the Kardashians. But i started watching all of the old shows a few months back. This book is so interesting. Kris Jenner has had a varied life and seems to be the kind of lady that likes to take a chance on life to be happy. She seems like a wonderful Mother who no matter what is thrown at her she makes sure her kids are happy. I love the fact that Kris is such a strong woman. I did not realise her family were involved so much in th OJ Simpson trial, as i remember watching that on the news when it was live from the courtroom when i was young. Definatley worth a read..
