Solid, Perfect Size, High Quality & May Help You Out In the Real World
The MaxOut MX250C fire extinguisher is not only a positive addition but it adds that appeal of chrome metal to the inside of your vehicle. Yes you can buy cheap and red but if you have any money invested it only adds to the look. The standard bracket is easy to mount. I chose to reinforce a carpeted mat with a piece of flat plastic and attach the bracket with hardware from the local Ace. In this way if I have riders I can pull the fire extinguisher and put it in the trunk away from curious fingers. And it won't roam around my vehicle at speed. I wiped it down with metal polish and the chrome finish is very solid. Nothing wrong looking good while still having an important purpose. My interior is black leather on black carpet. The MaxOut MX250C really adds visually behind the seat and is always accessible. This model should last a very long time and is rechargeable. Years ago I stopped to help a motorist who was trying to unpack her burning car. I had no fire extinguisher but another motorist stopped and handed me theirs. It was a pint size thing that no longer held its charge. Nothing like watching a semi-classic car slowly burn to the ground from a simple dashboard fire while holding a red, pint sized paperweight.

Every vehicle should have a Fire Extinguisher - and these are top quality
I've tried to mount a H3R 2.5lb Fire Extinguisher in every one of my vehicles, as you just never know when you'll need it. I witnessed a rollover last year, with the vehicle fully engulfed in flames, and was frustrated that I was in a rental car and didn't have a fire extinguisher on hand to assist with extracting the driver. (He survived, but it reminded me that I needed to order more for a new vehicle) I prefer these over the "one and done" Kidde extinguishers, as these last longer, are refillable, and are higher quality. These are small enough to mount under a seat, in a truck bed, on a roll bar, or behind a seat. There's lots of mounting options out there to fit your vehicle and mounting location.

Excellent fire extinguisher
Seems like a great quality fire extinguisher. Mounted on a Kawasaki krx1000. Looks great on the machine. Hopefully never need it but nice to have just in case

Money well spent. Quality fire extinguisher.
Mine arrived today. Came in perfect condition with a few little extras that was a really nice touch. Extinguisher has a really well built mounting bracket and all the extras as far as pin retainers, etc. Great job and will give me peace of mind knowing it's available should the unfortunate circumstance arise. Thank you for the solid product and the "little something extra" you included.

Great for weekend racers or passenger cars and trucks
Great product for a car, I bought a custom BMW bracket which allows it to go under infront of the front seats I use this in a car that does some weekend racing. Safety is important, it may save your life.

Looks good
Well luckily I haven't need to use it yet, but a fire extinguisher is required for the track I go to. But it looks cool and I'm sure it works good, at least if my car catches on fire I'll look cool putting it out

Pricey but High Quality
Bought this expensive extinguisher because it fit the custom bracket for my 1993 Mustang. Haven't used it (thank God) but it appears to be high quality and serious fire equipment. Only 4 stars due to high price.

A bit costlier, but superbly made and good support
It's weird reviewing fire extinguishers, because I never had to use it to put out a fire, and even if I did, I wouldn't have direct comparison to other models. But I can rate the bonus features you're paying for. First, the extinguisher is all-metal and the metal parts are sturdy and well-made, so it can take some abuse - say, when mounted in a car. Secondly, customer support is very good: my kids unscrewed and misplaced a nozzle on one of the extinguishers, well past the warranty period, and the company responded immediately and just sent me a free replacement, no questions asked. I suspect that they'd be there to stand by their product in the event of more serious mishaps, too. My one unconvincing critique of the design is that the holder that comes with the extinguisher could have stronger, positive locking action: I have the extinguisher mounted in the trunk of an utility vehicle, and the clasps sometimes come undone when loading or unloading cargo.
