SPF 30 Brush-On

This warm welcome to spring (yay!!) is for my makeup lovers. I use sunscreen daily, but I can’t say I love using a cream, which can be oily and clog pores. That’s why I’m super excited to introduce you to Mineral Fusion’s ingenious mineral sunscreen powder! UPDATE: first day of pool season. Under my fake tan I’m pale as Casper. Though I had a fresh fake tan... so I couldn’t use an oily sunblock that would erase it (my fellow fake bakers know oily things no no and not even lotions touch you til the first shower - i still had my guide bronzer on). So I used this sloppily dusted over my whole body pretty much (even head since I have short - dark, it rubs in invisible, hair) over the course of an ENTIRE sunny day. UV index 8-9. I was bad and last reapplied it many hours before that peak index was reached. I. Did. Not. Burn. Nor even tan!!!!!!!!!!! It’s like building a concrete wall between you and mr sun! Also by the way I believe all those bad reviews that immediately pop up that trash the “retinyl palmitate “ are probably one disgruntled weirdo who hates vitamin a in its weakest and usually very innocuous form that most people do not notice and are non affected by in the myriad products that it is in. Geez buddy sit on the couch. I can’t believe I was shelling out for that other brand. Also I recommend this over derma e (it broke/clouds went alllll over AND it’s too fair); this is a darker color for my nw30-nc40 while fake tanning skin and doesn’t flash back). Super high zinc and titanium dioxide % with easy effective mechanism that works and is sturdy. Affordable. Nothing bad to say. Have several of them and always keep one in purse to touch up over make up. Kids never burn in pool with it.

This powder SPF works well on my oily skin since it seems to make my skin less shiny in comparison to regular sunscreen which usually makes my skin even oilier. I like that it's a small tube which makes it convenient to carry around and reapply when necessary. I don't like that the bristles are extremely soft, I would prefer if they were a bit more stiff as the product seems to spread out everywhere. This also dispenses way too much product at a time and leaves my face looking powdery but once I blend it in it goes away. Despite the minor flaws this is a great alternative to regular sunscreen.

I've been using the Mineral Fusion Face Sunscreen SPF 30 Setting Powder for a few weeks, and I love it! ...the brush thing is REALLY annoying. The product itself is just fine, I took it with me on vacation in the Caribbean and used it almost exclusively on my face instead of regular sunblock. I did get a bit of a tan (probably should have reapplied more often) but no burn at all, even after a day trip to the BVI with a lot of sun exposure on the boat. The color is generally transparent: I'm quite fair, and it did not show except as a slight matte finish, at the beginning or at the end of vacation when I was more tanned. I always had to start it on the back of my hand to get it flowing, and if I forgot to wash it off it would come off on my clothes later on (doesn't stain though, it washes out fine). It did not cake or run, or transfer from my face, only problem was when I got it on my hands or neck. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating, is the darn brush. Really, it's not a bargain product, why can't they use a brush that doesn't fall apart? Bristles everywhere, every time. I looked furry! Seems it would be so simple to improve that little problem.

This sunscreen powder is the best one I've used so far and I've used others. Including Colorescience and Derma E. The powder in these others wouldn't always come through the brush. Even after tapping it several times on the counter. I had to open up the powder canister to get to it because I'm not wasting it! So when I saw Mineral Fusion sunscreen powder on sale, I gave it a try. So glad I did! I use it almost everyday, as a touch up to my tinted sunscreen. Usually in the afternoon when my face is starting to show some oiliness. You can even see the powder coming out. I'll be purchasing again as soon as I run out of it.

I really like this powder sunscreen. It is easy to apply and feels great on my skin. It does provide great protection and I do reapply after a few hours of exposure.

Watch out! Today is December 4, 2025, this product has an expiration date of January 2026, printed on it. I just received it yesterday. This product is being shipped out to customers with no shelf life left. I ordered the mascara too, but I'm sending it back due to lack of trust, however, the mascara does not have an expiration date.

Muy buen producto, se aplica perfectamente en el rostro y lo uso solo de retoque cuando ando en la calle! Matifica muy bonito y me han dicho que parece que uso algún tipo de filtro! Lo uso de la mano con el ISDN Fotoultra100 con color! 10/10

Hasta el momento todo bien, quintal el brillo también cuando ya tienes mucho en el rostro, es bastante fácil de aplicarlo y totalmente traslúcido, me encanta

Para su función esta increíble. Lo único malo es que sale mucho producto y es fácil verte empanizado, recomiendo estar atenta al espejo al colocárselo. A pesar de “ser invisible” si deja un rastro de polvo claro en la cara, si eres moreno(a) puede no adaptarse a tu tono natural. En cuanto a la protección solar 10/10. Deja sin brillo la cara. Si aplicas lo suficiente se ve natural. Muy practico.

Lo uso antes de salir del trabajo cuando el sol está mega fuerte y siento la piel fresca, tiene mucha duración y no se siente pesado
