While I do like this clock, there are a few flaws... The design is very sleek and modern, and the numbers are easy to read! The pillow shaker function works perfectly, which was my main draw to the device seeing as I’m both hard of hearing and quite a heavy sleeper at times. However, I was a little disappointed to find that the USB ports on the back for connecting a phone charger to were a little tricky.Basically, whenever I wanted to use the night light AND charge my phone, the clock would “reset” to midnight as if the power went out, and I’d have to reset the time and my alarm. If I DON’T use the night light feature, it will consistently connect and disconnect quickly, and the numbers will flash once. I’m not sure why this is, maybe my phone is overloading the power in the clock or something?Customer service was very kind and courteous to me, and offered to send me a new unit. (I figured since I didn’t really see any reviews mentioning my specific issue that it was probably just a defective unit). However, the new unit did the same thing... This time it would reset even if I DIDN'T bother with the night light.Again, this may be an issue localized to me, maybe I was unlucky enough to receive the same defect in both clocks or maybe it really is my phone that’s the culprit. I still like the clock and the other features it provides, and I can always just plug in my phone to a wall brick, so I’d still recommend it! I’ll knock off a star only because it’s a feature that’s useless to me in my case, but other than that, it’s a great clock!

I really appreciate the brightnese. It's not too bright & I don't need a night light for my girls. I am also blind in one eye and I can clearly see the time across the room. I wanted to take advantage of the vibration but my daughter still sleeps through it. She is a heavy sleeper but sometimes just selective. 😉 So I won't blame the product for it.We got better use of it by setting it across the room. When it goes off it vibrates on the dresser and no one can sleep through that! Just make sure to set it up in the center so it doesn't knock off on to the ground. I found this more effective than under the pillow because you HAVE to get up. There is no snooze, ignore, or rolling on top of it as I do my phone. Maybe not ideal for all but it solved our issue of waking up too late.

This product is pretty great--I've always had issues with waking up, and the added vibration from this alarm seems to be a helpful trick--an extra nudge to tell me it is indeed morning. The night light option is great for diminished lighting to settle the brain before sleep, and the set up and use for this product is easy enough for a child to be able to pick up and use.I would also like to commend this company on the speed and friendliness of their customer service. It was unfortunate that the first clock came defective, but they sent a new one out as soon as they were alerted to the issue. Fantastic customer service. A slight downside is that they've emailed me repeatedly to try other products and review them--not a fan of pushy companies, and just like if I'm in a brick-and-mortar store, I'm probably just going to leave without ever getting anything else.

I order the alarm clock without the bed shaker first, we had some issue with it no going off and I contacted the company's support center. They went above and beyond fixing this issue. They walk me through some troubleshooting and when it still did not work they sent me a new one, not even requiring me to send the broken one back. THEN they ask me to buy a "sister product" to try and and they would reimburse me for it. They have me a couple of products to choose from and the alarm clock with bed shaker is what I chose. They indeed reimburse me for the new alarm clock and checked on me every few weeks to be sure everything was going good. The clock works great, my boys are hard sleepers and it wakes them up with no problem. I thought you would not really feel the bed shake because it is a little device and how is it going to shake the whole bed (He has a queen). But it did and now the boys are up before me with no problem at all. Great product with amazing customer service!!

This is a review of the Mesqool Vibrating alarm clock.It has large blue digital numbers for ease of viewing, and in the rear you can adjust the brightness, by sliding a toggle switch either to the left or right.The setting of the time, and alarm, is simple to do, and I had both set in a matter of seconds....It was a breeze to do.All of the buttons in the rear are nicely labeled, with some in red to distinguish between buttons.It comes with a vibrating device that resembles a hockey puck. This must be plugged in, in order to have the vibrating affect.Snooze bar is on top, and lights up when touched.Now for the fun part......I set the alarm and waited for the vibration. Believe me, there will be no more excuses about NOT hearing the alarm when this goes off, because this hockey puck jumps all over the place when the alarms goes off...Great design, in a nice sized package. If you're looking for a great alarm, that's easy to set, and that will wake you up, give this one a try..

I wish the alarm was louder but with the bed shaker it helps a bit. I like how there are two USB ports in the back where I can plug my phone and my watch for charging. I like how I can change the time from a 12 hour to a 24 hour clock display. brightness control for the easy to read large numbers. And the different colors on the snooze bar that is used for a night light If you want.Overall I really like this alarm clock it could be louder I like the front display large numbers and I can control the brightness I can change the display from 12 to 24 hour Clock and 2 USB charging ports on the back
