And they don’t ship and the closest availability is in Texas🤪 So happy I found the exact thread here! Now I can finish my project. Will look beautiful embroidered on this linen.

I didn’t use it for how it was intended. I hung pendants on them for display. The strings shredded and broke as people removed them from the hangers they were on. Definitely not silk.

Since the pandemic, I refuse to go out of my house. Too many people refuse to wear masks, therefore are endangering those they come into contact with. Since I don't go out, I can't get to JoAnn's to buy embroidery floss. I used the silver floss to embroider initials on a custom quilt I made for a client. See the photo.

Very pretty but slippery and hard to work with. Perhaps I don’t have the skill required.

I was not a fan as it was hard to work with. I'm just starting to embroider again after being away many years. Maybe once I have more experience I will be better at using it.

I got this for a Star Wars lightsaber cross stitch project. It worked just fine. I couldn't get this locally, I had been to every craft supply store in my town, no luck. I am aware that satins as with the metallics can be rather finicky and difficult to work with. I have worked with metallic floss and some satins for years. I just have to be more careful. I don't have any problems with this floss. It does add something nice to the projects.

My embroidery floss came quickly and was exactly what I was needing!

Do not buy... it defeats the purpose if the floss come all black and stained.. if you don’t mind it stained then purchase

Arrived 3 Days before due date. DMC 1008F - S415 Satin Embroidery Floss 8.7 Yard - Pearl Grey. Excellent Value for money. Super quality of floss that you expect from DMC. Beautiful soft floss. Gorgeous shade. This floss is a lot cheaper than in the shops.

This is very pretty thread with a lovely sheen, but it is really hard to work with. Consider using shorter strands and conditioning it with something like  Thread Heaven- .Note that this is 100% rayon floss and is DMC's replacement for their older Rayon Floss line. The number of these threads match regular DMC with the addition of S at the beginning. (To convert from the old Rayon Floss numbers, just delete the 30 at the front of the number and change to S. Eg. 30931 becomes S931.) Thread Heaven-
