Easy to use. Worked great in my 2018 gmc. Picked up the issue even when the dealership missed it or maybe they just over looked it. Now I can tell them what to fix.

The Autel OBD2 Scanner MS309 is an excellent diagnostic tool for anyone who wants to keep track of their vehicle’s health. It is very easy to use—just plug it into the OBD2 port and it quickly reads engine fault codes and checks the Check Engine light status.

It scans codes and can clear codes. Works on foreign cars. Not difficult to use. Not much else to say.

For the price, this is a great scanner. I have a 2005 Jeep Cherokee that has a lot of quirks. I love not having a car payment, so I am hoping to keep driving this vehicle for as long as possible. Recently, my husband’s vehicle needed a jump, so we used the Jeep (which has a new battery), and immediately I got a check engine light. The Jeep had just been at the shop, so I assumed the jump had triggered an electrical code. I had a different brand code reader that I had purchased a few years back. That code reader showed two codes which were seemingly unrelated and hard to believe would occur simultaneously. That reader would not clear the codes, so after an internet search and seeing Autel highly recommended, I purchased this inexpensive unit. As a few other reviews mention, there is no instruction manual included. There is a QR code, but that only takes you to the Autel website, and lol, this product isn’t even on their website, so no manual or instructions. I did find a helpful YouTube video which walks through the process of using this and clearing codes. After watching that video, I was able to quickly find the code causing the check engine. Since the code shown related to a low voltage actually made sense based on using the vehicle to jump another car, I felt comfortable erasing the code to see if it comes back. This code reader did erase the code and in starting the vehicle, there is no longer a check engine light, woohoo. If there were instructions included or an actual website to reference, I would definitely give this 5 stars.

This device is a must have! Self sufficiency is power. I have an exotic foreign vehicle and the OBD2 scanner works perfectly. I don’t have time to go to the dealer or wait on anyone. I detected the issue, cleared the check engine light - since I know it’s safe to drive temporarily until I get to the dealership. This tool is great for everyone - especially women and first time car owners. It will save you money and time because you know exactly what the issue is that needs repairing. No one will be able to pull wool over your eyes again. Durable and easy to connect. Great purchase!

Needed a cheap OBD scanner that I could keep in the car while I monitored when the car finished all the EVAP system checks so I could go get my state inspection. Autel is a known good aftermarket brand. Easy to use and read. This is not a bi-directional scan tool so its not supposed to be able to do a ton of diagnostics. Code reader, freeze frame data, and system monitor checks. What more could you ask for at this price.

I have many of these scanners that I leave in family cars. They have always worked great and keep me in the loop of what I might need to make repairs even though I'm not there.

Well worth the investment I've used this several times for different issues and in my opinion works very well does its job!

Compré este pequeñín para revisar códigos de mis carros en casa. Es muy rápido, y aunque es muy básico, bien vale la pena; pues lo podemos transportar en la guantera, o con la herramienta. También resulta una gran ayuda si te gusta hacer mecánica en casa, o para dar seguimiento a fallas intermitentes o recurrentes. Todo muy bien. Sin embargo, no pude encontrar la marca Autel por ningún lado ni en el producto, ni el empaque.
