The only reason i got this set because you get everything what you need for the price of 1. I was planning to fix my beats headphone charging port for months but i kept delaying until it no longer worked. This set provides everything you will need to do soldering and many other fixes. It comes with 6 different tips so you can choose the thickness depending of the application area which is a life saver especially if you are working on small pieces like my headphone micro usb changing port. The connectors were so close i had to change the tip to the finest one. Also, you will get a very nice multireader which usually sold about $20-$25 alone but it is included in this kit. The bad thing is they didn’t include the batteries on the meter. The best thing i loved on this set is the screwdriver which is also a current tester i had been looking for this thing from the Home Depot and Lowes but couldn’t find this type. The utility knife is very sharp and the must have tweezers helped me a lot to hold the tiny wires. I am absolutely so happy about this purchase already fixed my first item now I’m gonna fix my alarm clock power plug port. If you think this review was helpful please don’t forget to vote.

It’s a very good

There are several similar kits available in the marketplace. This particular one stood out because the selection of tools seemed to be sourced from a different supplier unlike other kits that all seemed to be carrying equipment from the same factory/supplier. The multi meter and the desoldering pump seem more durable than what's in other similar kits. Kit also includes one of those old fashioned tester screw drivers that I dont think anybody uses anymore. Package arrived sooner than expected. All tools were in good shape with nothing broken. The solder iron has been used a dozen times now and is working properly. Adjustable heating. Sufficient quantity of flux for several light to medium projects. The stand is easy to assemble and disassemble. The pouch is fairly okay in quality but I suspect might start to show signs of wear and tear in a year. Too early to say. The only item have not used in this kit is the electric tape, rosen and the multi-meter (already have one from before). They provide a year guarantee for the soldering kit which I suppose is good enough.

I just recently got into soldering, and I was afraid that I would damage the soldering iron from lack of knowledge about caring for it. Being on a college budget, this kit was perfect for me to get started without worrying about breaking something expensive. Everything works, and the multi-meter was a very convenient addition to the kit (because I'm new to electronics and didn't have one). My only complaint is that the stand for the soldering pen itself is kind of flimsy and top heavy.

MY INTENTION WAS TO BUY A 180W IRON FOR MY WELDER CERTIFIED GRANDSON BUT THERE WERE NONE IN WITH A SELECTION OF ACCESSORIES. I BOUGHT THIS ONE BECAUSE OF ALL THE DOODADS IN THE KIT. I TOOK THE ADVICE FROM BUYER FEEDBACKS OF OTHER KITS WHOSE STRONGEST DISMAY WAS NOT HAVING ON/OFF SWITCH ON THE CORD. THIS KIT, HAVING THAT TYPE OF IRON PLUS THE METER AND OTHER COMPONENTS SEEMED TO BE A COMPLETE SET OF ALL NEEDED THINGS. FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE YOU GET SO MANY IMPLEMENTS. MARLENE ><>

I bought this because i am finding it hard to get tips for my weller soldering gun sometimes. I was surprised at how complete this kit is. If it has anything to do with soldering, it’s In this kit. The temp control on ghe handle of ghe iron is an unnecessary feature. Everybody sants more power! So i set it on high and removed the knob

I bought this for my husband (at his request after researching them all) and after just a few uses the soldering gun is no longer operational. The problem is there is where the heating element connects to the handle. There is a thin metal ring that sits right next to the plastic and then going through plastic to hold the pieces together is metal screws. The metal ring heats up, thereby heating the screws which melts the plastic housing causing the heated tip/rod/element to break off. My husband said everything else in the kit was great, it's just a bummer that the one item he needed to work, and the whole point of the kid, doesn't. 3 stars because all the other extras are nice and worth the price, but the main item didn't even make it through a project.

Was good enough to help me replace my mouse switches - Newbie at soldering and I figured it out form YouTube videos. If I can do it, anyone can do it.

Lo único malo es su multimetro no es tan preciso

Lo único que deja un poquito que desear es el multimetro. Sin embargo por el precio es lo que corresponde y con detalles pero si funciona.
