can this be used on mac? or is it just for windows?

Is should work fine if you can duel boot windows on Mac.

What's the difference between the 2.0 and 3.0 versions?

This is a very good question, thank you. There are two main differences between 2.0 and 3.0. 1. The 2.0 mesh is a honeycomb fabric with dense mesh; the 3.0 mesh is a checkered fabric, which is more durable. 2. The 2.0 tape uses hot melt adhesive, which is suitable for most materials except PVC; The 3.0 tape uses our newly developed new glue, which is basically suitable for window frames of all materials, and is UV resistant, high temperature resistant and removed traceless, suitable for sunlit windows, and also suitable for PVC windows frame. This is the main difference between the two versions of the product, you can buy it according to your needs.

Can you remove the net to open and close outwards opening windows? Does it stick back in place also?

Yes, it can. You should keep extra space when you cut off the excess of the screen mesh, for convenient to open it. And you can press the net back to the velcro lightly after you open or closed the window.

Would this stop a mouse from entering?

I guess it would depend on how determined the mouse is. It's only really stuck on with a velcro type material so not overly strong. But then mice are pretty undeterred....theyll eat cardboard and even their own babies, so I doubt this would act as an electric fence for them. If mouse wants in, theyll get in
