Have a few of the melody susie products now and have never been let down. This drill can handle daily use on the go all the time. Not to heavy to handy, easy to use and great value. Power settings are enough to remove biab and gel. Not too loud to use. Do feel a bit of the vibration but depending on drill head they leave a nice smooth finish. Plenty of attachment options but do buy mine elsewhere.

My first impression was very good.. well packaged, with manual and offer of extended warranty, I tried the drill before charge it, and worked silenciously and no vibration.. light and beautiful, I'm really impressed. I didnt use it continuously, I just received it today, but I loved it Ps: after 1 month and a half using, the pen overheated and stopped working. I contacted the warranty and they gave me a refund!

This is a great drill, the battery will last a long time and easy to use. I have found the cable became damaged from prolonged use. However the seller was happy to replace in a timely mannor.

Where do I begin with this. Purchased an alternative Melody Suzie Nail Drill (the one where the hand piece slots in the middle when not in use), absolutely loved it and it worked like a treat, no issues whatsoever. Received a recall notice from Amazon - had to return it & would be refunded. I did and waited for my refund. Contacted customer service who were rude and virtually told me I was wrong to have returned it. After much back and forth and presenting the recall email Amazon sent to me I eventually received my refund. Having returned my original nail drill I needed an alternative nail drill and this was the one I picked believing it wouldn’t let me down after reading the reviews despite it costing more than the original nail drill. (Incidentally turns out the recall was dropped by Amazon in the interim, as in fact the original nail drill didn’t have an issue after all). This nail drill arrived, worked well, held the charge, I was happy and even bought a stand to put it on to keep it safe, as I don’t use the clip. There were slight fluctuations with the hand piece holding a speed but I got to know where to place the dial so it didn’t happen, plus as I didn’t use it at high speeds wasn’t that much of an issue. Fast forward to now, 3 months later. Bear in mind this hasn’t been used excessively, never been dropped, plus I use dust protectors on the hand piece and on a whole it looks like new. The handset started to make a change in noise, then it just stopped working. I, like others, still have the lcd display and you can feel a dull thud of power reaching the hand piece when you increase the speed, but it does nothing. I’ve had it 3 months and 1 day and it’s stopped working. Despite being very disappointed having spent £70 on it, I thought no problem I can return it to Amazon as ITS A FAULTY ITEM and not fit for purpose. Turns out no I can’t, you need to contact the manufacturer directly, who I have now completely lost faith in and wouldn’t buy from again. Overall I’m pretty disgusted and most definitely wouldn’t recommend this item. At a cost of £70 I would expect this item to last, and if it develops a fault be returnable for a full refund.

This is the 3rd one if these e-files I’ve purchased from melody susie. The first worked for a few months then stopped working, it would work intermittently and cut out depending the angle I held the handset. I contacted melody susie customer service and was sent a new hand piece which worked fine for just over a year then the same problem started to happen, the drill would cut out and work intermittently. It was out of warranty by this point so I purchased a new e-file. I couldn’t afford a more expensive brand e-file so had no choice but to buy this one again and I was glad I did. When the new one arrived I could tell improvements had been made to the e-file since I first purchased this model. It felt more sturdy and better built, the screen now shows if it’s in reverse or forwards, the hand piece feels more heavy duty and also better built, less flimsy it has a good weight to it which the older one didn’t have. As soon as I turned it on it just feels different, different in a good way. Melody susie have obviously read the reviews and worked to make the Scamander drill a much better quality e-file. I’m confident this hand piece won’t break like the other 2 and will last a lot longer 😊

This was purchased for an older family member who has thickened toenails. I purchased a set of ceramic tools to use with this, because I'd read that ceramic would be "kinder" to very sensitive nails. The gadget did not disappoint. It proved to be easy to use and I really like the variable speed control, which even on the lowest speed proved to be gentle but effective. It is quiet in use and, I like that it is mains operated. The MELODYSUSIE Sheen Electric Nail File is advertised as a beginners nail drill. As a complete beginner I am very happy with my purchase. I cannot talk about manicures and nail colour removal, etc., because this was purchased purely for pedicure use, as mentioned above. The Podiatry service in our area ceased to use nail grinding devices due to the pandemic. They advised the use of an ordinary nail file to treat the thickened nails, but a file proved to be no match for the problem toenails, hence this purchase. Used WITH CARE, this will be a game changer for the person for whom it was purchased.
