Got the oven working again
Went to use the oven and the bottom was not heating up. The local store did not have the right size so I ordered this one. Easy install and now the oven works again. Easy inexpensive fix.

Warning: Destroyed my oven! Do not buy!
After reading what seemed hundreds of reviews to compare similar parts, we went with this as a mid-priced option. When it arrived it seemed a little warped, but it straightened out somewhat when installed. As soon as I turned on the oven to test it, there was an internal explosion (luckily the gas to the stove was off) with an incredible amount of smoke, and the entire appliance was ruined beyond repair. I've changed elements before without any trouble. I'm thinking the curvature of the terminals was wrong, creating an electric arc that liquefied all internal electronics. Very scary. Would love to talk to the manufacturer and/or seller to mediate some form of restitution since we need to replace the entire oven now, but there isn't a direct contact that I can find.

New Oven Heating Elements around $65 should last for years, not 2 weeks past its 90-day warranty. Graciously the supplier Discount Parts Direct offered me a 15% discount on another purchase of the same item. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Take heed and buy it anywhere else but from here.
