I just got the non-waterproof No. 5 Budge cover and tried it on both my 1967 Eldorado and my 1949 Buick Roadmaster yesterday - both XL cars. The material is a grey perforated synthetic similar to other covers I have had. It is not particularly soft on the inside but not terribly scratchy either - it is just one layer. It fits both cars well in length and width and height due to the generous amount of elastic on both ends that go under the front and rear bumpers and cover the bottom of the car at least 12". It has the side grommets in case you are in a lot of wind - I have needed these on another car in the past so they are good to have. Seems decent enough to recommend especially at this price.

Cover fits snug. One person can easily remove it but it takes two people to put it on properly. Easy to wash and keep clean.

Within the safe confines of a garage, it provides protection against dust, light debris, accidental scratches from careless car door dings, a child's bicycle, or a hastily stored lawnmower. It also shields from errant basketballs during an impromptu game, stray tools left out after a weekend project, and the occasional spilled paint can from an ambitious yet ill-advised DIY endeavor. However, it does face challenges in tempestuous weather. One particularly blustery day, the cover took flight, carried by the wind and landing squarely in the cherry tree - an ironic reminder of a careless neighbor and persistent source of our frustration. The cherry tree and the neighbor, though we'll focus solely on the cherry tree for now, leaving tales of the frustration caused by the neighbor for another time. The cover's packaging, while pristine upon arrival, becomes a confounding puzzle once opened, never to be restored to its original form. Consider using a nylon compression rucksack for storage. You will find, upon inspection, the front and back are clearly labeled, and the cover thoughtfully accommodates side mirrors and antennas. I'm reminded of a particularly crisp evening at a quaint inn near Zurich, where I found myself in a poker game with a masterful purveyor of stolen beauty, a titan of enigmatic power from the East, and the inn's proprietor who seemed blissfully unaware of the secrets swirling about. Luck was on my side that night as I unexpectedly won a cherished classic automobile. With the car now in my possession, a sudden snowstorm threatened its pristine condition. Together with the thief, the shadowy magnate, and our unwitting host, we hastily improvised a cover to shield the car from the elements before retiring for the night. Unbeknownst at the time, I had no intention of keeping the car for myself; the innkeeper, committed to maintaining discretion regarding the night's secretive activities and intriguing guests, gladly accepted it as a gift. All of this to say, a simple cover can sometimes be your first line of defense. In conclusion, the Budge Lite Car Cover is an excellent, affordable indoor solution, but has its limitations. For outdoor use, consider the more robust Budge Storm Block series. I recommend this economical cover, but remember: its true worth lies in proper use. Purchased for a 1971 El Camino. I already have a expensive, perfect condition, custom fit and weatherproof cover that I purchased years ago, but I wanted a cover that wasn’t as heavy, and would be easy to throw on for inside of the garage. I purchased the size 5, though my car was listed under the size 4. I’m glad I did, as this one fits great with a just little extra looseness, but not much. I didn’t want it to fit too tight since it’s just being used in the garage, and I didn’t want to have to stretch it on to fit. I also wanted to use this inexpensive one as a size test if I choose to upgrade in the future. So far this one seams to fit the bill. I do wish it was a little softer, and I’m hoping it doesn’t leave any fine scratches to the paint over time? My only complaint so far is that it came extremely wrinkled from being vacuum packed. I can’t imagine the wrinkles will eventually come out over time, but we’ll see.

Size #2 fits my 1993 Toyota MR2 perfectly. Not sure it would fit anything larger, though. I would not use this type of cover for outside but it should work to keep dust and debris off when in the garage over the Winter. It is easy to use with two people but might be pretty tough to fit by yourself because of the elastic perimeter.

Overall this was a great product. I use it for my Dodge Charger that sits out in the sun. PLEASE SEE UPDATE ON BOTTOM: unfortunately had to downgrade my review just not that quality over the long run Pros: - The fit is snug and seems custom I don't see this cover flying off that easily in the wind. - the polyproplyene material is fairly thick but lightweight as well. The covers material is comparable to a reusable grocery tote bag. it doesn't seem cheaply made and is solid for the price point - This might be small to some but it has a label indicating which side is the front or back makes it easier to put it on and be consistent with it Cons: - It doesn't cover the car completely on all sides like the picture shows. It goes down to about the midway point on my rims and doesn't go all the way down to my exhaust in the back. It essentially covers about 85% of my car. - Could be a little better at deflecting dust still have dust on my car after removing it but my car stays outside by dirt so its not that big of a deal - It hasn't rained in a while but I don't see this cover protecting that much considering that polypropylene isn't water resistant although the material tends to dry fast. Overall It seems like a great value and has held up great so far. At this time of this review it has been 32 days and so far so good has held up in a warm California summer so far. UPDATE: This car cover lasted for 6 months and started to fit loose after about 4 months. This car cover was eaten up by the sun and is barely good for 6 months i just don't find that good enough. I have since found a way more reliable cover the Coverite Bondtech that is sold at pepboys and on amazon its probably $10 more but that one lasted me 13 months in a hot climate the material started degrading and it started ripping after i started getting careless taking it off. I would say the fit started getting loose around 10 months or so which is good considering it gets put on and off at least 5 days a week sometimes more.

Dislikes: 1. The size chart Is off, because this cover #3 would perfectly have fit my Car Make and Model. 2. #3 fits very tightly all around top to bottom. Makes it very difficult for only 1 person to put on and take off. Not ideal if you SOLO and no one else available to help. Will give you a real workout. Ok if that's what you want and not rushimg out to work. 2. A choice needs to be made as to whether the front or the back part of the car will be exposed at least 2-3 inches above from where the cover should naturally fall and cover. The picture may be deceiving in the case of #3. 3. Securing yarn for the loop holes is very thin and flimsy and not sure it would hold the cover in place against high winds. But if you have a thicker yarn or preferably cord it, that should work. Likes: 1. Tags indicate a front and back for placing cover correctly. 2. The back loop & seams serve as a marker to make sure cover is placed evenly on both sides front to back. However, if cover is too tight it will take a bit of maneuvering. 3. Material is good for the price. 4. I like the elastic bottom :-), However, may be the cause it is too tight to put on, making it hard on the fingers when stretching it to cover the bottom portion of the car. 5. Waterproof under light rain. Has not rained hard enough to see if water will seep thru. 5. Good protection for falling leaves & dust. Have not decided to return yet. Good for the price and temporary being used outdoors while I wait for surgery and am able to drive again.

Bought this to use on my 2002 Mazda Miata. It fits perfectly. I use it when storing my car indoors. The price point is great for what this offers, a breathable car cover. I would recommend it. I have purchased another for my M3.

I purchased this cover for my partner's Honda Civic and it fit great. It was easy to install and also is easily stored when not needed.

I've ordered a size 4 to use on a 1990 Miata, and it worked perfectly! Obviously this is a thin material, not water tight, but it works for me since I park inside a closed garage for the winter only, and I just want to protect the car from dust. Really happy with this cover.
