Sturdy, adjustable parasol base which holds parasol securely in place
I bought a new garden parasol after my old one broke in the wind. I then discovered that the parasol base which I already owned did not fit my new parasol. I chose this base over others, although it was more expensive, as it was adjustable so I could be certain it would fit. It was also bigger than my existing base and as a result, when filled with water, I knew it would be heavier. This is important as it makes the parasol more secure, particularly if you are not putting the parasol through the middle of a table. As my old parasol broke because it was not terribly secure and was inclined to wobble in the wind, I did not want this to happen again. Because the base is adjustable I was able to ensure that my parasol fitted snuggly inside it without any wobbling. The heavy base added to its stability. So, all in all, I was very happy with this base. It was worth paying extra for it.

Lightweight parasol stand. Fit for purpose but don't expect a long life from it
Does the job and easier to carry and store when empty than a solid, cast iron stand. The hand screw that keeps the umbrella located in the stand is poor design and quality, as it simply graunches into the pole, destroying the protective coating. A receiving hole in the pole would have resolved this.

Good quality
Prompt delivery by the seller, UHD Wholesale. All the parts were of a good quality and easy to assemble. I will try first without filling as this will be used under a picnic bench and not free standing. If you leave the parasol in the picnic bench hole then the wind will pull it over at an angle. So see how that works. Due to the weather and time of year will not leave this up with parasol until next year.

Not worth the money
Badly designed product. There is a tiny hole to Pour either water or sand in to make it heavy. Very overpriced and badly designed. I xx have bought better for ยฃ4:99

Good value
Easy to fill and does the job, but not sure it would stand up to strong winds.Could do with wheels for easier movement but at that price you canโt argue.
