Hours of FUN! High Quality!
This works great!! Very high quality. We pulled this around for HOURS and hours with small children...and adults. It is durable and fun to ride. For beginners or adults who like the ride...but not the tumbling off, this offers a secure ride. Almost boring. It can be pulled more aggressively for a more exciting experience.

Tips to Survive on the Big Mable
I purchased this tube to replace a lay-down style tube that warped (bloated) in the middle. There was only 1 review when I bought this, but I took a chance and it was worth the risk and the price - so far :). Here is what I've learned/picked-up from using Mable. Survival Tip 1: This thing can get some major air (5ft!) when the water is very choppy from boat/pwc traffic (on the 4th of July weekend for example). This is really cool, until the rider comes down. So, a word of advice - from experience - if you get major air ***LET GO***! Yes, this may seem to go against your initial instincts to hold on for dear life. But, here is something to consider - you will have two outcomes if you hold on: A) you will get ejected after the impact OR B) you will get a good amount of whiplash. Our riders had some not-so-fun-and-painful landings/ejections when they held on, but were fine if they let go mid-air. If you are not going to provide a flat ride, and are looking to catch a good amount of air, your may want to inform your rider(s) of this. Survival Tip 2: Mable isn't a one-trick towable. Mable can fly and tip and flip! While Mable may seem bottom-heavy (and thus non-flippable), if you whip the tube out wide enough and fast enough (i.g. boat speed around 20MPH) you can lose your rider(s). I don't think we had any injuries from tipping or flipping, besides riders having the occasional collision while on the tube. Survival Tip 3: With adult riders and with Mable in the 'chariot' (kneeling) position, our boat wasn't strong enough to get Mable started unless the riders leaned back. So, tip 3 is to LEAN BACK when in the chariot position to get started. Afterwards, the rider can get comfortable without trouble. As a side note, when we had one rider and had speeds between 10MPH and 15MPH, Mable nosedived in the 'lounge' position. She would also sometimes drag or tip over without a rider, usually when the boat slowed down from lower speeds that were between 10MPH and 15MPH. General Tidbits: -Switching the position of Mable is really easy. -She also stays inflated very well - we didn't have to re-inflate after the initial inflation. -The handles and padded areas can rub on the rider(s) skin. If you want maximum protection for your skin, wear long pants when kneeling. Longer bottoms may also be a good idea for sitting too since regular swimsuits may ride-up. Gloves may be a good idea for extended rides, or you'll risk blisters. --- Overall, the Big Mable is an awesome tube. It handles all sorts of riders, it has held up well (over three months with at least 2 weeks of heavy use/abuse), and it is very very fun. It is easy to switch positions. --- Notes: Used only on fresh-water lake.

Used 6 times this season and already losing air
We were able to use it about 6 times and it a lot of fun. Great for younger kids because it is not an easy one to flip over. As we slowed down to swap out riders, the tube flipped back, dumping our kids into the water while it sat idle and when we got it back to shore, the back rest was soft, losing air. We filled it and it has a slow leak. NO air sound or leak tear found, not sure why this is happening.I have contacted Airhead to see if this is covered under warranty. I will update review when I get a response. ****update…I was sent a replacement part and it it’s back to good. Great customer service.

Tons of fun and built to last!
Sure! Here's a general Amazon review for a boat tube. If you have a specific model or brand in mind, I can This boat tube has been a total hit with my family and friends! It inflates quickly, hooks up easily, and is super sturdy even at higher speeds. We’ve had a blast using it over the summer — it handles turns, bumps, and waves like a champ. The material feels thick and durable, and the handles are well-placed and comfortable to grip (even for the kids). We’ve had multiple riders on it with no problem, and it still looks almost brand new after several weekends on the water. If you're looking for a fun, high-quality tube for the lake or river, this one’s definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Great, but!
Don't submarine it! That's what happens if people lean forward when you take off and it tries to go underwater.... Will make tremendous stress on the seams! Also 4 small children ok but no More than 3 adults "even though there's room for 4" or you will rip the stitching and only get one season. I've had to return mine twice for ripped seams! Treat it nice and it will last. Lots of fun! Super hard to flip so can get lots of air without Wipeouts! Two adults is fine, 3 is pushing it unless they are light. As long as you are skilled at pulling you can push the limits... no sudden jerks from slack in the rope or you will whiplash and/or tear the mable. These bigger rafts have tremendous weight and so slack rope jerks are not recommended. Be careful about putting two big people on the edges and a little guy in the middle, the middle guy might get squahed or elbowed in the head or eye!... but two big people on the ends does tend to make it more stable. Another caution is "pay attention" when pulling folks out of the water and make sure they don't lean forward so as to submarine the mable. That will exponentially increase the pull and you will rip the seams. One more safeguard, if you want it to last for years, don't store it in the sun..... short periods are ok but don't leave it on the dock all summer or the handles will rot off......prolonged exposure to sun is hard even on ski ropes! Otherwise, its great fun to be out there with others at the same time either relaxing on a river cruise or ripping up the waves... you can get some good air off other boats if your timing and speed is correct! After owning two of these I"m contemplating another brand..... I've noticed the item weight on this is only 20 lbs. When compared with RAVE Sports 02645 #EPIC 3-Rider the item weight is a whopping 37 lbs! In my book that tells you a lot about quality, thickness, strength of all parts concerned, especially since both are 3 person riders. The RAVE Sports 02645 #EPIC 3-Rider indicates a rider weight rating of 510 lbs.... The super mabel is rated the same... interesting....

WARNING.. can be destroyed by the SUN! Yes, read for details.
This product not well-made at all. After contacting their customer service about getting a replacement, they refused to work with us at all, zero... we received this one as a gift 10 months before (so most of it's life was in a garage in the winter) and it self-destructed. There is little light that was hitting it and they tell me that light destroys the handles... can you believe that, light.. on an outdoor product! I'm supposed to store it inside, which we coincidentally did anyway. It was always in a covered boat house or in a garage. In its short life, it had very little actual lake use and only by very small children. It was not abused in any way. But... none of that matters, as they refuse to help us without a receipt. I can cite the exact day that our family gave it to us as a gift, but they don't care. No receipt, no service. We have tried to get the receipt, but they paid cash and discarded it. Actual correspondence from the company- "The product can be in the sun but when left in the sun for a long period of time can cause the cover to fray and the handles do tend to start ripping." And in an earlier reply, they offered PARTS to fix it at a whopping 20% discount, woo hoo... Am I supposed to sew these on myself? LOL "However we can give you a 20% discount on the part that you need. The code you will use is SCOTT20. It looks like the cover is frayed which is usually caused from being left out in the sun. When taking a break it is always better to store the towable under some shade or shelter until its ready to be used again." Sad company...

Our kids favourite water toy
I bought a boat to get our children outside and doing activities. We do fishing, overnighting, relaxing and watersports. Since we live in Singapore, all our activities are in the ocean - with wind and waves from loads of cargo ships. We have paddle board, wake board, knee board, slice 3ppl towable and this 3 person Super Mable. It is safe to say that this is their favourite water toy so far. We normally tow it sitting facing forward, but in this video we turned it facing “backwards” and the kids on their knees, which is a bit more active ride. The kids keep pushing each other to go faster (and I slow them down to get home in one piece). They have so much fun on this thing. Every trip someone will get tossed out almost guaranteed, despite it being very stable. This is due to waves. But it is much easier to ride than most towable as you basically sit as if in a sofa and hold on. At first I thought that would be boring, so I bought the slice version. But it is anything but boring. They love every minute on it. The only complaint I have is the fuel bill. They never want to stop… Note: it is heavy to lift, especially when wet from use. It is well made with great materials and seemingly strong seams. I highly recommend this towable. Possible to use for age 10 upwards I would guess. Even my wife gets on it and enjoys.

Not worth the price
Product leaked after only a few uses (less than one season).
