Antenna Works Great
I moved a four year old Sony Surround A/V receiver to the basement. I was disappointed to discover I could not receive a single FM Radio station. I read numerous reviews on several basic FM antennas and chose this antenna. Man, I never though a basic antenna would make so much difference. I live 45 miles from one large city, and 60 miles from another. I now get all the radio stations I get in my car from both cities, plus many more. I did have to fiddle around with the antenna location to get the best reception with the maximum stations. But what a difference this antenna made. There may be other antennas that provide a comparable outcome. I can only speak for this one. What an improvement it made on my reception.

The radio looks and sounds good but has never reliably locked onto my favorite channel
Gets the job done! I had been using a Tivoli Model One radio with a Terk Technology AM/FM Radio Antenna at my office. The radio looks and sounds good but has never reliably locked onto my favorite channel. I have been frustrated for three years having to constantly tune and manually readjust to find and stay on my station and had just about decided to replace my radio with a SANGEAN (digitally tuned). The Terk antenna I was using with my radio was advertised as superior/omni directional and was relatively expensive so I was skeptical about replacing it with such an inexpensive FM dipole antenna. I decided to give it a chance and ordered this antenna as a last resort before ditching my Tivoli for the SANGEAN digital. This FM Dipole Antenna - Male "F" connector solved the problem completely. All stations now come in strong and static free and no longer drift requiring manual readjustments to the tuning knob. Recommended!

Almost worked
Helped some with reception. I don't fault this antenna, though. I would have given 5 stars if it had solved my problem completely. It appears to be well made and I have used this type of antenna in the past in another setup in the same spot which worked well. I have new equipment and a new media console, now. I tried placing it in many different locations and different directions to no avail. There's just no way, that I can find, to avoid multipath in my current configuration, so I'm a little sad and frustrated, since I'm otherwise happy with my new media equipment and furniture. I'm sure someone with more expertise could find a way past this. Will probably have to have an outdoor or attic antenna installed, but was hoping for a little holiday music now from a particular station (<40 miles away) to brighten up these cold days. I can get this station (with static) in mono, but no way in stereo. But at this price, it was worth a try. If anyone has any simple fixes to shielding this antenna, I would sure appreciate hearing them.

Works great with Tivoli Audio Model One
I have a Tivoli Audio Model One which, while pretty, has a very fickle analog internal tuner. Over the course of a week or so, the tuner would slowly drift off of the station I had it locked onto. I live in a stucco house in a major city, so there are a ton of reflections and other distortions which screw up a weak FM signal. After adding this simple (and cheap!) FM antenna, my radio has had zero problems with static, fuzziness, or tuning drift. Well worth the price!

Only if a straight wire doesn't work for you
Try this before you buy any kind of antenna: (assuming you have a stereo receiver or something like that): get a thin wire stiff wire about 1/16" thick and maybe 12" to 20" long. Bend a 90 degree angle in one end about an inch long. Stick that bent end in the center jack on the rear of your radio receiver, so the main length of wire sticks out straight up in the air. This was on the back of my receiver. I got great reception that way and much less trouble and less an eyesore than the dipole wire, which is now safely in a drawer somewhere. Most car antennas are about 29.5" (75cm) long so you could try that exact length as well. This is called a quarter wave antenna. Works pretty well on cars doesn't it? If that doesn't work then yeah, go and buy one of these. But you have to futz with it and they are more direction sensitive and you'll have to tack it to your wall or behind a picture frame or something.

Really helps my HD radio
I attached this to my Insigna tabletop HD radio and it brings in a bunch more HD stations now. I had to get a 1/8" male to F type female coaxial adapter to fit my radio, but it was worth the small added expense. The adapter can be purchased on Amazon. The antenna is quite sturdy. I'm really glad I made this purchase as it has noticeably boosted the range of my radio.

Inexpensive and easy replacement for wire antenna
I purchased this antenna to replace the flimsy wire that came with my tuner. This antenna attaches easily and securely to the back of the tuner and delivers a clear, uninterrupted signal. I live in a garden apartment and have no issues with reception. The antenna hides behind my armoire where I keep my TV, etc. and is easy to move or keep out of sight.

Not what it appears to be!
This appears to be a common Folded Dipole tuned to the FM Band. I brought it and connected it to my FM Radio, with mediocre results. Chalked it up to being in a metal and concrete building. After all, not much that can go wrong with this type of antenna. The down-lead was getting in the way, so I modified it slightly by shortening the down-lead and wiring a spare matching transformer to it so that i could use coaxial cable from the antenna element to the receiver. Performance went from nearly useless to very good. Now curious, I cut the plastic off the original matching transformer. There was no matching transformer! Since this type of antenna is a Balanced Dipole with an impedance of 300 ohms, connecting it directly to a 75 ohm unbalanced receiver will affect performance very adversely! this is tantamount to snake oil. buy a version of this with the spade lug connection and a matching transformer to use instead. not only will it work much better, you will save three dollars.
