Not reliable
Inconsistent, sluggish response, unreliable sensing voltage presence

Simple to use and doesn't require extra batteries
Great value for the price but very small display. Needed something for a single job of replacing some GFCI's, and this one did the trick. I can confirm that this works for both AC and DC. My only problem was the display which shows a little lightning bolt - it is tiny and need some good lighting to see.

It worked.
It works. Would not use it on something of very much importance, though. Screen in picture description is misleading. It is very, very small! Needed a cheap tool for an easy, fast fix, and it did it's job.

Overall good product.
The product works as expected. One negative would be the small size of the reading for no touch voltage. The little lightning bolt is not easily seen.

Does not work. Buttons did not function.
Maybe I just got a bad one, but this detector was simply useless. I wanted it for the DC capability since i already have AC detectors but this one couldn't detect AC or DC. Find an alternative, that's what I'm going to do.

for a quick check it works great. and is spot on.

Inconsistent
Used for awhile but my control tests showed that it missed the presence of current in about 1/3 of the wires but never gave a false positive. Not reliable enough to trust. Only writing because I am presently looking for a detector
