1st off this is 100% genuine made in China official Stiga product. There is 2 or 3 reviews that have pictures of a paddle that has a B? on the handle. Now that is obviously a fake because why a B for Stiga Evolution? And the bat is just rewrapped in cellophane. All Stiga bats come in that very distinct Stiga package. If you got this then you got the real deal. The review pointing out missing periods, a couple misspelled words, & some things not being in bold is complete garbage. Don't listen to this person. The missing periods is BS (very likely printer error, my package was missing 1 period, the rest of the package and item were flawless), bolding of certain words vs. other similar paragraphs are only in bold if it's a header and not part of a larger sentence. For instance the 4 boxes he refers to only 1 of those boxes has a bold header because as I said if it is the beginning of a sentence then it's not in bold (makes sense right?) but the 1 "header" that is in bold, says something "blah blah blah technology" then starts a new sentence describing that tech. Formaldehyde was spelled perfect on my package, as far as it being misspelled on his package, I don't have an answer for besides it's China & I, a native English speaker, don't even know how to spell that word so looks like factory error again. My overall point is yes there is a very small chance you would get a fake (that is just table tennis paddles, a lot of fakes) but this previous reviewer is sorely mistaken because the things he points out as wrong are tiny mistakes & the rest of the package is flawless. It would cost less money to sell authentic products than to go to the trouble to recreate a near perfect recreation. And by the way the paddle is the best I have ever played with. I hadn't played table tennis in probably 10 years (other than once with the cheap $5 hard paddle). I used to have a paddle that was soft rubber like this, but I'm sure it wasn't at the same level. Long story short, this paddle blew me away. First, I don't play often, and would rate myself as an above-average casual player. I've always been decent with my serves, but hard-hitting volleys were never my thing. But once I started using this paddle, my game play dramatically improved! Suddenly I was able to drop the ball onto the table with a hard hit-- something I had never done before. This paddle gives you so much more control over the ball, and if you literally spend 5 minutes on ChatGPT asking for some tips on how to hit the ball, your game will exponentially improve. If you want to enjoy playing table tennis more-- and be a lot better at it with minimal effort-- then buy this paddle. And while you're at, spend the $15 to get the paddle case... the racket is sticky, so dust will settle on it if it's exposed.

I purchased the Evolution and the Titan rackets to compare to see if there was much difference. I consider my skill level to be very high at this game and I tested the Evolution by playing against another high level competitor and we would switch rackets. After playing around four dozen games, we both agreed that the Evolution was by far the superior racket. The spin control and defense were the most notable. There were several shots I made with enough backspin, that the ball hit on the opponents side and came back the net to my side before he could hit it. We both also noted that we could return power slams easier with the Evolution and it just always seemed to have the softer touch. The Evolution made a difference of about 5-8 point swing in each game. The construction of the Evolution is very solid and feels slightly heavier than standard rackets including the Titan and to me, I wanted to extra weight to assist with control. I have played with the Evolution now for 2 months and it has held up great. I would suggest getting the case for your rackets to preserve the rubber if you are going to spend this much money. As far as power goes on this racket, the Evolution has plenty of control for those fast shots. Compared to some killerspins I have used, I would say you may get slightly more stiffness and overall power on your shots with the higher end killerspins but not as much control and touch as the Evolution. Overall I am very happy with this awesome racket. Looks like I will have to buy another Evolution now because everyone wants to use it over the other rackets I have:)

Great racket for the money. I caution that it is very light and is taking me a while to adjust. This is a soft racket with great control and not built for power. Factoring that in with how light it is I am coming up short on about 25% of my backhands when using backspin when playing away from the table. That siad, I think once I've fully adjusted I think I'll be able to do more with it. I've only played with it 3-times so far and have not experienced any of the issues other 1-star rating people have. If you are a casual player this is a great paddle. The one turn-off for me so far is it came with a very strong smell of paint thinner and still has not worn off. I'm guessing it's the type of glue they used, but the smell doesn't transfer to your fingers so it doesn't bother me that much, just weird.

My workplace has a ping pong table and my coworkers and I have been playing for a solid year or two now. However the company paddles were in constant dis-array and always being destroyed. However, even with crappy paddles, I was able to develop my game quite a bit and control the ball well. However, I didn't always get to use "the good paddle", so I decided it was time to buy one of my own. I hopped onto Amazon and began doing research. For me, this consists of reading tens/hundreds of Amazon reviews. What's better than a primary source review? After much debate, I decided to order this Stiga Evolution paddle, along with a Stiga paddle case. The paddle arrived within 2 days thanks to Amazon Prime. I brought it into work the next day and played a game with it. I absolutely hated it. I was coming from a "cheap" paddle that was included as part of a ping pong table kit. With this new Stiga Evolution paddle, the power of my shots was immense, but I was hitting the ball all over the place. Control was lacking. However, I stuck with it, and forced myself to learn this new paddle. After a solid 2-3 weeks or so, I finally started to get the hang of it. It's now been about 6 months, and I've absolutely mastered this new paddle. My control is excellent and so is the power. The moral of the story is: With great power comes great responsibility. Don't freak out if you can't handle this at first. If you haven't played with a premium paddle like this before it WILL feel weird. Stick with it!

I play ping pong everyday (well, 5 days a week to be precise). I have tried several of my friend's different paddles and bought a few myself, and so far this one has exceeded them all. I love the balance and lightness that this bat offers. (I had a butterfly bat that was just way too top heavy and really threw my game off). Yes, the paddle does make a unique sound when the ball hits the paddle. I don't even notice it anymore. It just makes a little more of a hollow sound because of the shock dispersion tube, but it's nothing to be concerned about. One thing I did find weird was that the plastic windows on the handle (that let you see the shock dispersion tube) are just kind of snapped in there without much/any adhesive. After my paddle had an unfortunate encounter with the wall, the little plastic window popped out. I was able to pop it back in, but now it pops out here and there. Not an issue, and easily fixed with some superglue, but just thought it was worth noting. This paddle would be ideal for someone who is serious about ping pong and is familiar with spin as it will take some getting used to otherwise. I was disappointed it didn't come with a racket cover, so I just bought a cheap one on here. Overall, a fantastic paddle. If you are ready to take the next step and get a nice paddle, this is the one.

I played my first pong match 3 weeks ago and instantly fell in love. I played for 14 hours over the next two days. When I returned home after my marathon of smacking balls, I found a table and bought it. Now all I needed was a new paddle because those house paddles were below me now. After some research I laid my eyes on this beauty, I knew this was the one to up my game. I waited anxiously for the paddles arrival and was not disappointed when it finally showed up. As I tore open the package the paddle began to glow. I wrapped my hand around the handle and knew this was my Excalibur. My first shot lit the ball on fire and tore through my garage door. I decided I should work on something else because I didn’t have many balls to spare. The second shot i tried was with some spin. The paddle spun that ball like bullets off the movie Wanted. That’s when I knew this thing was for real. Some friends came over and I decimated them one by one. They left with tears in their eyes and welts on their bodies. I was the champ! This paddle will turn you into a table tennis god. 5 stars!

I'm in no way a super ping pong player. I do all right. I got this racket because the ones provided at my work were pretty beat up and I figured if I'm gonna buy one that I'd get a nicer one (and one that looks cool). This one had great reviews and looks awesome. As far as performance, as I said, I'm not a pro or anything but honestly, I didn't notice much difference between this one and the cheap ones at work (as far as my performance goes). It's not gonna make you a great player, but I'm sure it would make more of a difference if you knew what you were doing. Anyway, none of that is the reason for the 3 stars, because really I liked it a lot up until it broke. Granted, I do blame myself, but I feel like it should have held up better. a few months after having this racket, and after a few fairly heated sets one day, and after losing the latest match, in a bit of frustration I did hit the racket against my thigh a couple of times and the handle just snapped right off. I was not hitting very hard. I was very surprised to see if break because many of the people I play against do similar things, hitting their palms, thighs, or even the table in frustration, without consequence, even with the cheapy rackets. So yeah, cool racket, you feel cool using it, it's light and feels good, but perhaps that also contributes to less structural integrity. I couldn't repair it and have since gone back to using the cheap ones provided by my work, like a mear peasant :( (in hindsight I should have taken an image to attach, sorry about that)
