Works flawlessly
I have installed LED tapelight for undercabinet lighting, in closets, in safes, under handrails an in other locations quite a few times. Previously I would solder all the connections, which can be time consuming and frustrating. I always use the waterproof strip lights, but the silicone coating makes it more difficult to get a good solder connection, and everything is so small that difficult to work with. The connectors are well worth the cost of around a dollar each. I'm not sure why so many reviewers seem to have problems with them, for this particular installation I used 4 strip to wire connectors with 100% success and a lot of time saved and no burned fingers from the soldering iron. I used 22ga wire (ASIN: B07DHQK4JY ) and SMD2835 waterproof strip light (ASIN: B0132NM6T4). Cut the strip light at the marks, open the connector, insert so that the connecting terminals with pierce in the right location, squeeze shut - separate an in or so of the wire, open clip, place wires into splice terminals with the correct +/- location, squeeze shut. The clip is clear so that you can see that your wire is laying straight across the terminal and no need to strip the wire first, it gets pressed into a "knife terminal" for ease of use. You must squeeze it down hard to make the connection and make sure that the plastic clips snaps shut - if you need to you can open the connector back up and reposition the wires, if you miss the first time your connector is not wasted. For anybody having problems with these I think it is user error. As for me, I'm going to order more to have extras in my tool kit for the next installation. If you are new to this, take some time, get the wires lined up right, clamp it down until you can see the clips on both sides of the connector snap shut, and enjoy the ease and convenience of not having to mess with a soldering iron.

Works great for 10mm silicone-topped waterproof LED strips
I used these on forty LED strips and every one worked great. Only two of them didn't work the first time, but I just removed and reconnected them and they started working. I think most of the negative reviews are from people trying to use these on different types of LED strips. These only work for 2-conductor strips that are 10mm wide and have the rounded clear silicone waterproofing on the top side. Any other type or size of LED strip are unlikely to work with these. I was originally planning on manually soldering leads on these forty LED strips which would have been messy and time consuming. I was pleased to find these connectors and very happy that they worked so well for me.

Great concept, awful execution
I bought these because they make perfect sense for a bookcase lighting project I'm working on. However, as some others have stated, these connectors are flawed and useless. The flaw is in the tape side connection. Basically the connector uses a set of vampire "prongs" to make the LED strip connection. Those prongs have to penetrate the tape to make the connection. However, the fold down top doesn't fit tightly enough to force that connection... so, you cut the tape perfectly, you insert it into the connector so the end is "flush" with the plastic on the tape side connector, push it down and... no penetration, no solid connection, doesn't work. Worst part is that if you open these connectors more than a few times (which is fairly hard given their size and the clips) the lid on the side you've been opening will snap off. Note that I was doing this with a 24v 10mm hit lights LED tape... maybe the backing on the tape is too thick, but they're basically average for 24v 10mm LED lights.

Not perfect, but worth a try.
Is the product delicate? Yes. Will it support much stress? No. Can a secure reliable connection be made on a regular basis for those who have patience and make sure it digs in proper into waterproof led strips? Yes. The major problem is that the contact patch is so thin when you push up vertically into a flat surface. It helps to pull on them as you clamp them shut on the led side to provide a slightly more secure connection. Others had problems but they did the trick for me.

These are perfect!
I bought some low voltage pathway lights and I didn't want to use the power hungry halogens but I still wanted the warm color. I settled on these (3000K) over one or two others. Easy to install without any hassles of fitment. When the time came for the lights to come on they were perfect! No blinking. Every single one worked. It has been a month or two and they are still working the same - flawlessly. Not too bright. Not too warm. Just right! I will buy again when I need them.

Intermittent connection failures
Not worth the aggravation

Easy to use
Easy to use. But clips do not hold wire well. I lost connection a few times because the clip would not stay closed.

So far, so good
We bought these to replace one that failed on our kitchen under cabinet strip lighting. I was skeptical it was going to fit properly as the contact points on this particular LED strip were very, very small. But I needn’t have worried as it snapped in and turned on immediately. It’s only been 10 minutes, but so far it’s flawless. I’ll report back if this changes.
