Original SSP 10 Attachable Dusting Brush, Vacuum Cleaner Accessory

This brush tool is very good quality.

The dusting brush is exactly what I need. As others have said, it has far fewer bristles than the original, but fits my vacuum and so far works well. The bristles on the original brush just somehow compacted into the opening. The Miele part is more expensive than others, but the only one that fits.

The Miele attachable dusting brush is a handy tool. I use the brush (not too stiff, not too soft) on living room furniture, lamps and tables; on the bedroom nightstands, picture and mirror frames, wood molding, vents. Very useful and keeps the dust down if used with Miele vacuum filters. Highly recommend this attachment.

It's ok. Not as good as the one that came with my Miele unit in 2009. If you rotate this one too far it comes apart. Then you have to line it up and put back together. This o r is lighter and cheaper build wise.

First let me say, this is not the seller's fault. Miele has changed this brush from what used to be a very soft, natural horsehair dusting brush to a polyamide bristle brush. Unfortunately, these fibers are anything but soft. They are stiff and very abrasive, and they will damage your belongings, especially if you have fine art and antiques. This brush is a night and day difference compared to the horsehair brush that used to be the SSP 10. I contacted Miele to find out if I received the wrong brush, but they claim this is the correct brush. They sent me a new one to be sure, however it is exactly the same. Miele claims that the Polyamide bristles in this dusting brush are natural bristles. Excuse me? According to my research Polyamide is a synthetic polymer, like nylon. It is anything but natural, and Miele should be ashamed of themselves for trying to pass this horrible brush off as a natural bristle brush. Wood is natural too, but I wouldn't dust my belongings off with a bunch of toothpicks strapped together either. Does Miele think their customers are both blind and stupid? Those of us who have invested a small fortune in their high-end machines know the difference between the original SSP 10 horsehair brushes and this rough, scratchy thing, which by the way, is in the exact same packaging as the former horsehair SSP 10 brushes of the past. We've had the pleasure of using many SSP 10 dusting brushes through the years, all of which wore out due to the natural hair bristles; small price to pay for having your belongings cared for gently. Did Miele really think we would not notice this bait and switch? This is shocking and appalling, from a company that I never imagined would sell out like they have. Miele is known for top quality in engineering and design, but not anymore, at least not when it comes to this accessory that's for sure. Anyone who pays the exorbitant price tag associated with Miele vacuums, also expects to get a high-end accessory. After all, what good is it to have a first-rate vac with a sub-par accessory? That said, it's great to have options. If Miele were to offer this plastic brush as a secondary option, then fine. But to replace the soft horsehair brush with this stiff plastic brush, and keep it in the same SSP 10 packaging describing it as a natural hair brush, that is beyond deceptive. It is false advertising. Shame on you Miele. This SSP 10 brush is going back. I will not risk damaging my precious belongings with this horrible excuse for a dusting brush. EPIC FAIL MIELE.

An excellent duster for furniture. Not exactly sure what else to say because most of us are buying it to replace a missing attachment for our Miele vacuum

Con l'utilizzo, mi si è consumato pezzo originale acquistato con l'aspirapolvere, dopo aver visto su Amazon ho acquistato il pezzo di ricambio "Bocchetta per mobili per aspirapolvere SSP10" per un'importo pari a €14,39. È esattamente uguale a quello che avevo, ovvero una spazzola di ricambio di qualità come di consuetudine Miele, morbida e ben fatta, prezzo adeguato alla qualità e si adatta perfettamente al vano aspirapolvere in cui viene riposta. Soddisfatto in pieno dell'acquisto... come sempre è un prodotto eccezionale consiglio vivamente l'acquisto.

Bought as a replacement for our original brush which had simply worn out after many, many years of use. Nothing like a genuine Miele part - leaves the after-market “copies” out in the cold!
